I have to ask, but besides working, living in a very small town and improving your japanese skills, why are you still in japan? no offence, at least your in japan, but if I was in japan, I'd like to move back to a bigger city. That's just where I belive all the action is.

Becuase the bigger cities are too expensive, There are no jobs for engish teaching right now and this was a last resort.

Sorry for the immature joke- I am really glad you found a way to stay here despite all the chaos, as having watched your videos I could see how much you were getting out of Japan. Yes, you did look like Tom in the Last Samuri- but I suppose you are now the Skiing Samuri:)

There's more than two conbini in town. Theres the one on the high street not far from the station, one on the way to the resorts and one on your way out of Hakuba toward Omachi. Did you really walk to all these places?! Anyway, thanks for the memories!
