Tuning and frequency accuracy are dependent on "ambiënt conditions like stability of the crystal , temperature and quality of the components?

Mate!!-I know-----the advent of the Phase Locked Loop----ensured -stability with one reference Crystal?

Hi Peter

In the next year I will be converting my 2 Codan 7727 rigs for the ham bands.

This will be done with a new PLL synthesizer and will allow SSB operation up to 10Mhz with minimal other changes.

Rebuilding the output filters and all HF ham bands are possible, which is the way I will go.

It should be a fun project., I just have to finish my current projects off first :-)
