The Islamic Republic democracy is similar to Stalinist democracy; it does not make any sense. The mullahs high jacked and turned the peoples struggle for freedom into a theocracy of hereditary Caliphates similar to more than thousand years ago. Soon or later they have to bite the dust. Mullahs have lost even their popularity with pious and devout believer; as such they have no bases within the people.
