  • Wow. The lead singer isn't very good.

  • Great times great music

  • I have the Chicago and Earth Wind & Fire Concert recorded live at the Greek Theatre, Nice piece of hold right there!

  • Ya'll need to listen to the David Foster / Arnel Pineda version....wayyy better!

  • @pcjxbo My cat in heat crying sounds better than Scheff!! He's a butcher.

  • Chicago is netter than most of the crap of this age. And um only 14

  • Happy New Year 2012 ! :) QC

  • great after a drink, brings back the memories which i dont get back without the drink, sorry but I'm enjoying meself, it's christmas. Happy New Year 2012!!

  • When music Was music.

  • 9 DEAF MORONS VOTE DISLIKE!

  • such a great song..

  • Jason gives so much more than Peter ever did~~~~and Bill has always been a true musician..Met them at a party in Miami beach after show with some beautiful, talented musicians...I love these ,"real" people.......

  • Good to be back!!!Chicago you're the best!

  • I went to a Chicago concert in 06. It was good, but I wished Peter Cetera was there instead of the other guy.

  • @muhdikjohnson2 Hit a nerve did I? Oh dear.Saddo.

  • I wish you all would leave Jason alone. He is not Peter but still sounds good. Besides Peter's voice sometimes is irritating

  • @wsealy02 ... this wasn't Peter. -_- Get it right before you cut it down.

  • @muhdikjohnson2 But you avatar is of a big musclebound man.Hmmm.

  • I don't understand why ppl going on and on about Cetera. Not many ppl know who he is but the whole world knows the band Chicago

  • @wsealy02 Not many people know who Cetera is? 95% of the Chicago songs played on the radio have him on vocals you assclown!! But nobody knows who he is? Idiot!

  • @muhdikjohnson2 Weirrdddddddddo, were you buggered as a child or something?

  • @muhdikjohnson2 It's You're not your.Me...A retard?

Jason was brought in because his sound suited Chicago, what did you want them to bring in,Rolf fucking harris you pleb?

  • @muhdikjohnson2 If you honestly believe Jase wants to sound like Peter you need your head reading! He's not a 5 year old you idiot.A great singer in his own right-Not in Peters shadow.

  • Peter Cetera, as a dad myself I don't blame you for a second for choosing to be with your young child rather tour than a hectic touring schedule..but how much better would this sound with him there, sorry Jason..can't put a square shape in a round hole..this and Chicago biggest hits were sealed with Cetera..Bill sounds great here and the band have still got it..one of the biggest missed opportunities was for the guys not to bury the hatchet and reunite..would have been magic..even to this day..

  • Chicago still kicks ass in 2010, I just saw them live!!!!!!

  • Being without you, takes a lot of getting used to, being without you was all a big mistake :-((

  • QUIEN ES EL GUITARRISTA?

  • Decent

  • Damn, I have to find out what LeonNizam wrote!

  • A question for all of you fair weather fans who don't like Jason Scheff; who would take his place? Any suggestions? Obviously, the rest of the group is really sold on him. His tenure with the band is a good bit longer than Cetera's. Too many fans live in the past. Cetera is history, and, by might I add, his own choosing. Quit lamenting what will never be and just enjoy a extremely successful rock band that still rocks after all these years. Why listen or bitch if you don't like it?

  • This is a decent rendition of this song. Bill sounds good as he did in the original with Peter Cetera. Jason sound ok to pretty good. HOWEVER, nothing beats Cetera's version. Unfortunately, Jason butchers up every other version of PC'S songs. Jason just doesn't have the singing abiltiy that PC has. Time to hang it up, Jason. Sorry to say that but it's so obvious.

  • I saw the Doobie Brothers and Chicago live in concert last year. No words can describe the energy that both bands brought to the stage, alone and together. They have that special kind of music that never gets old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WOW!!! love this performance of one of my favourite Chicago tunes!! xxxxx

  • Is it just me, or is this a bit slower than usual?

    Love Bill's hair, though!

  • JUST A GREAT PERFORMANCE!!!!!

    GREETZ FROM HOLLAND

  • i bought this for a girl i was seeing..she left me..;;;

  • @ALISONSMINE hope you not looked liked them maybey thats a thing to think of,lol no iam sorry

    greetz mate

  • This song sucks without Cetera

  • @johnboy10171 Agreed...The whole band sucks without Cetera.

  • @johnboy10171 You're dumb!!

  • this band needs a complete biopic. because damned... why did PC walk away? i want a full bio on this band, we may never see one.

  • This guy sounds like he's singing karaoke at a bar. Or worse.

  • Absolutely stunning, band look so united in this video and Jason is simply beautiful,

  • love this song

  • One of their best songs...

  • Jason and Bill just kick ass. Their voices are awesome. Yes Peter was great, BUT, Jason, man you bring it! Their two voices compliment each each and sound so great together. This brings tears to my eyes and brings me back a few years.

  • Jason is way better than Cetera!

  • I'm tired of people downing Chicago without cetera they sound just as good if not betterwithout him than with him

  • @mmshortfuse I AGREE MAN - They had a hard time for a while replacing him, BUT THEY DID !!! And I TOTALLY AGREE THE LEAD SINGER THAT REPLACED CETERA, IS AT LEAST AS GOOD, IF NOT EVEN BETTER !! And, "Oh, by the way: Anybody know where Cetera is now ???" - LOL !!! He might still be workin' on that "Solo Career" - LOL - YEAH, GOOD MOVE, PETE !!

  • This is an awesome tune, hands down. But I'm afraid I have to say nobody does a better rendition than Peter Cetera. No effort at all when he sings it

  • @pincus74 So "Pincus74", in other words, YOU SUPPORT THE GUY THAT SUED THIS BAND & tried to PREVENT them from performing any of the tracks that THE BAND WROTE, BUT LET CETERA "(A BAND MEMBER)" SING ?? ---- JUST TRYING TO UNDERSTAND??.... IS THAT WHAT UR SAYING ?????? I'LL TAKE AN EDUCATED GUESS & SAY THAT "74" WAS UR BIRTH YEAR ??? OR 5 YEARS AFTER THE ORIGINAL BAND'S FIRST ALBUM WAS RELEASED ?? PROVING THAT YOU DON'T KNOW "DINK", ABOUT THIS BAND !!! SO....WASSUP ????

  • @CADIEUXGR Jeez, relax...I seem to have struck a nerve. I'll take it back to make you feel better if ya like.

  • @pincus74 LOL! Don't worry buddy, just go back to the 68/69 double-album, (Volumes II & III) and listen to some of their REALLY great stuff. That was when they were full of piss and vinegar, and were taking the country by storm. One of my favorite "B" rolls of theirs is on that album. I never hear it played on ANY radio station. It's called "Fancy Colours" . Then, there's 25 or 6 t0 4, and countless others. Well worth the investment if you REALLY want to hear their most-creative sound.

  • Chicago, in that era, say basically 1986 to 1994, was as good as ever, if not better, than any era before or since. Of those years, 1993 was the Super Bowl, World Championship, Indy 500, Masters, year of absolute highmark impeccable musicianship. They have always been great. These years in genreal, '93 in particular, are untouchable.

  • @3338MAN @3338MAN W-R-O-N-G !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU re soooooooooooo fucking far off, yo, it aint even funny !!! Chicago's BEST EVER STUFF WAS WITH TERRY KATH !!!!! 1969 - 1978-ish !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCKIN DO UR HOMEWORK AND CATCH THE FUCK UP BEFORE YOU MAKE STUPID COMMENTS ON THE NET FOR THE WORLD TO SEE !!! - FUCKIN' BEVIS !!!!!!!!!!!! I'M guessing that you don't even know or HEARD OF "TERRY KATH - UH-mmmmm - HE WAS THE GUY THAT STARTED THE BAND KNOWN AS "CHICAGO" !!

  • @CADIEUXGR

BINGO! I was a junior in H.S. when Terry died. I was told the news by a classmate, and went home thinking "that's it, they're done!" But Peter and (to a lesser extent) Robert Lamm stepped up and saved the band by shifting their vocal sound. Then Peter had to ruin a great thing by walking away from one of the best Brass Rock & Roll bands to ever record music. Talk about egos? While he had some hits over the years, it ain't him fans like us are paying to see now; are they?

  • Tris has been married twice. He is not gay, but one of hottest drummers with a personality that make you feel you are a longtime friend. Bill sounds great here with Jason.

  • This may be the best live recording of "ANY" song the group has ever done. I've seen them live almost every year since 1974 (Chicago VII). The vocals, music, the sound....everything was perfect!

  • thats not peter cetera is it? cause he dont look 49 here.

  • @phsycopiano tuts,,,,Does it really look like Cetera?

  • @phsycopiano

thats Jason Scheff that you're referring to. who was only 31 in this video.

  • Bear with me folks.....few vino and bit nostalgic......lol.......xxxx

  • love it, thanks alot

  • Coooool, I like this song, amazing musicians, this quality it´s free Cetera, wow, this is a band, nthing to see with El recodo, salutes from Metro Chihuahua´s Mexico

  • recuerdos ......... hermana claudis este es el grupo favorito de ella te quiero sister muak oxoxooxoxoxooxooxo

  • Bill Champin is great

  • bakan esta linda canción....

  • Love this song . Wish men would really love this way.

  • @75yortega Some men really do love this way. They're called nice guys, and women don't like them ;-p

  • This is HANDS DOWN, Jason's GREATEST Performance in Singing this Classic Chicago Song.

    Great Job Jason!

  • chicago! you're a hard habit to break! i love you!

  • Jason is great i love his voice as much as i Love peters. they both are very very good

  • Me too! love this song! totally! i started liking this song when i found out that my boyfriend likes it too.. gosh missing him now..

  • after all these years ............crazy hair

  • I used to sit in the bar all alone at the end of the night

drinking whiskey to this song for 4 months at a highway ranch hotel in Arizona. I had just split up with my wife of 4 years and I was going though a huge divorce case. She took everything and ran off with a toyboy while I was left to "pick up the pieces". Took me a good 5 years just to get over it. The only difference was that it was NOT an illusion that I CHOSE to create :(

  • @phileustace ...There is always a light after dark...Keep on striving!!!Life is beautiful, full of ups and downs...but those are just ingredients for the fullest

  • awesome the way u guys are fuck pete

  • Hard habit to break,,,,to listen chicago's music...songs!!!

  • Big time disappointment.....Not the same song or group without Peter Cetera.

  • Where have you been for the last 20 years? In some sort of cocoon?

  • The inventor of autotune

  • Can't resist. Bill. What's with the Ozzy hair style? LOL

  • @LeonNizam Finally! Somebody on this planet with some damn common sense when it comes to this band. I have followed the band since CTA. I loved Cetera, but he did what he felt he had to do and so did Chicago. What many naysayers don't realize is Scheff has been with them longer than Cetera was! Experience them live before your judge. Chicago still rocks!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @jamesskb I saw them with both singers, and they were great both times! Chicago and Peter Cetera are both great and deserve praise.

  • @jamesskb Agree! Cetera is an awesome singer.. But Chicago will always be Chicago. Great band!

  • @jamesskb i like both "versions, cetera and scheff. kinda tied to me.

  • @jamesskb Chicago still rocks.. but PC left Chicago in '84. Chicago has been a cover band of itself since, without Kath & Cetera. Scheff's ok, he's not Cetera. still Chicago with PC & Scheff should be in that R&R Hall of Fame.

  • @jamesskb yeah, but if you're imitating someone else you're never going to get props. Everytime I hear him sing, I begin the comparison. I can't help it. Most people can't. Dude was delt those cards. oh well. I like the other two singers because they sound unique and I don't think about Cetera.

  • After all this years. Chicago... from Peter Cetera to Jason Scheff.... its still the best pop group ever!!! Eventhough Peter Cetera has left and start a legendary solo career, Chicago still sounds great, amazing!!!

  • If you're addicted to a person you better not let her/him go,think a lot before you do make a final decision...But if it's destiny leads you, nothing to do with it but try to long another one...Although at first it would be hard to move on...endless fight esp when you live alone...hard habit but you need to break it then move on...you can go on,,,life must go on!!!Don't look back, look forward!!!

  • Living without you, Takes a lot of getting used to

She learned to live with it, But I dont want to..

    damn =(

  • Whos that vocalist?

    Hes not peter ryt?

  • It's Jason Scheff. He took turns singing along with Bill Champlin and Robert Lamm

  • yeah

  • Zaina thats lovely i wish you both all the happiness in the world xxxx

  • BESTEST SONG EVA! :)

  • my favorite bassist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Gene I never want to break my habit of you I need you. You are everything ti me and I will die loving you. I am wholeheartedly addicted to you and only you. I want to spend the rest of my life showing you just how devoted I am to you.

  • After being separated from the Love of my life for 30 years (very long story), we reunited 2-1/2 months ago and he sent me this video. He confessed that every time he heard this song, he thought of me, and of us. Now, we're back together, and it's forever, and neither one of us has to worry about breaking this habit ever again. (thank you, my Love!)

  • To ZainaDancer

omg that's the most romantic story I have ever heard. it's such a beautiful song.

  • Thank you Thalysiakeuh .... he is the most romantic man ever. He's asked me to marry him and we've decided on this song as our first dance. Hope we can make it through without crying !!! ; )

  • WOW, congratulations !!

  • Should learn to live with it,,,but I dont want to.......

I guess I thought you'd be here forever..

After all of these years,I'm still trying to shake it,,,,,,,,what a hard habit to break.

  • Just not the Same without Peter!!! Its like taking Steve Perry From Journey!! Who would 2nd that?

  • thats so true i agree with you totally

  • the orignial is betta

  • Mylie...I love you...sometimes love just never quite works out....

  • My wife's Love and care are those habits that are hard to break.... I love you babyBing!

  • I love Tim Always~ Your wife Tami

  • BEAUTIFUL song! makes me think of somethings in my life....

  • I love LOVE love LOVE love this song!!!

Reminds me of beautiful times with my boyfriend (now husband)!!!

    Beautiful TIMELESS classic!

  • Jason is just great!!! CTA are a life force!!! God bless them!!

  • Nothing against Jason. He is a great singer. But it really sucks hearing him cover Cetera vocals.

  • The guitar player is Dawayne Bailey

  • Why isn't the jerks from Warner music group shutting these videos down?

  • My guess, first off, no one is making money off of it. Secondly, I've purchased videos from watching segments on You Tube. When you look at it that way, this is FREE advertisement.

    Your thoughts?

  • the keyboard player kicks ass on this! great back up vocals

  • love it reminds me of my boyfriend now. that's how i found it this song... nice song baby! ilove you...

  • The guitarist from this era is really something. Who is he?

  • love chicago!!! love this song!!!

  • シカゴのアルバムを久々に聴いてみようかな

  • As habit's go Shanon is heard to break!

  • I could not give my heart to him.....it belong to you....i ended my lie....for the love I still have for you.I was hiding my love for you and moving on.But that night when we seen each other at the game ,it must of done something to both of us.Becasue we ended up seeing each other again. The smiles back spoke volumes.

  • dont ya just love chicago

  • Brilliant! Classic break up song!

  • i love it!!

  • no randy he isn't....he's better!!

  • I disagree. Jason is good in the studio but not live from what I have seen of these Youtube live performances. Actually I'm a little shocked at how good he isn't live. He seems to be strained & tired. Instrumentally they're terrific & that keyboard player with the long blonde hair is a great singer

  • this video shows him at his best though. If you watch any videos of this concert all of Jason's vocals are dead on. Listen to the one of Happy Man from this show; it sounds nearly like Cetera's no joke.

  • JAy435, that keyboard player with the long blonde hair is actually Bill Champlin. They picked him up in 1981.

  • The singer is NO pete cetera

  • Amazing never knew steve perry played the flute for Chicago lmao

  • love it remindes me of my ex!!

  • all i can say is REAL MUSIK

  • I think that the early 90's gave us the best versions of Chicago's ballads... Champlin has a very powerful, soulful voice, and Jason's range is near perfect. The entire band just has a "bigger" sound than they do now.

  • @john12178 your kidding right no 1990's Chicago ballad can touch 1974's Wishing You Were Here

  • one doesn't really know what he got until it's gone. Kudos Jason!

  • very nice.. i love it... thanks

  • Thank you for posting. Saludos a Rusia!

  • I Love this Video and that Piano Play from Bill Champlin. Very Greath...

  • I Like This Version:Because Bill Champlin Make Sound Awesome,he very awesome singer,I Like Cetera voice as well as Scheff, they do sound like alike.

  • me,too bill, i love you in this version, thank you.

  • This was a very good rendition of the song. You can tell here though that Jason brings a different type of element than Cetera did but he hit the notes. This is not an easy song to sing. This time Champlin didn't add way too much ad-lib which gets annoying at times to me. BTW, did yall see Tris Imboden's look? He looks like a girl! haha. Love this song and band!

  • @musicispower84 maybe Tris is gay haha im actually not kidding Bill Champlin great as always Scheff has to loose the whineing

  • jason and bill such great feeling. never get tired of them. love love songs.

  • yes idd he sings pretty nice! I ussualy dont "love" hes voice, i mean hes good, but no the best of them... but here hes doing it very nice!

  • Hey,Jason, you sing beautifully, are you come back to Tokyo Budokan hall??

  • well this song is so lovely...i love it so much!!!!

  • thanx a lot for uploading this juan. they are such a major band. jeff youre a hottie.pls. come back to japan.

  • Never noticed the 5 string bass Jason's using

    Nice video- Thanks
