Ya know, there's this thing called voice changing software that makes you sound like a male, female, teenager, or child.  I'm sure with the right engineering if they chose child, it make reanimate Al's voice a little. After all, the actor's voice only "matured" but the personality, intonation, and everything that is unique to the owner is still technically the same. Just a theory.
