@ManGrande1 yeah it has vampires and it's an rpg, BUT theres a very different atmosphere in oblivian than in bloodlines. in bloodlines you really don't know if theres something behind the corner that scares you to hell or not. in my opinion there isn't a game after bloodlines that can compare itself to it. i don't say it's the best game ever made, but in it's way how it set up it is unique till now. i wish they would make vampires 2, with better design and no bugs ^^

Those who compare this game to Twilight are either completely ignorant or just morons in general. Although some bugs it is probably one of the most interesting games ever with lots of interesting places and references to horror movies and plenty of dark humor in it. The only thing that annoyed me is that they never made a multiplayer version of it. It's been six years now and I want a new game!!

Fucking hell ive played this on my 256 MB Ram P4 1.8ghz, my average fps was 1.7, entering or exiting a building threw up a 10 min loading screen, and know what? I still loved it. fuck we need a sequel bad.

(That may because Bioware/Ea [Who the fuck ever] Half assed the ps3 version) Fallout New Vegas didn't even glitch for me as much as DAO. Either way, I didn't seem to mind the few glitches I personally experienced I was having way too much fun as Malkavian; though every computron is different so they say.

need some help....i have this game up to version 1.2 but it doesnt look exactly like in this video.....for example at 1:22 i have never seen that kind of shootgun and those other "things" on the lower left of the screen (the UI)......

they're are actually people developpinh mods that get rid of the old clans and bring in new ones. they're called vtm the final nights, and vtm antitribu. they are both mods that you can download and install on bloodlines.
@iliaHitman47 you can see their faces either by going into the character`s info page, or by hitting either numpad8 or numpad2, can`t remember which one (one of them is front view, the other is back view)
It´s so sad Troika Games closed their doors thanks Activision (FUCK YOU ACTIVISION, FUCK YOU). It´s the only game that give ever a full rating from 10/10. This game is one of best RPG´s for all times and the best Vampire Game EVER created.

@14sJakeB190 no mate... at least as they're shown in the Trailer. For example, the Bar Tender was supposed to be on VV's Strip Club (Vesuvius) but in the RC he's at The Asylum. Chunk ain't at the Cementery in the RC, so he's first at the Art Museum in Saint Monica and then at LaCroix's building. Also, the damage was lowered to fit better at an RPG more than a Shoot-em-up FPS. Also some weapons where changed and, of course, the hud. Still, best game ever made.
Someone needs to AT LEAST make a remake of this game!. With up-to-date graphics, improved character customization, lots and lots of more clothing, armor and weapons, a whole revamping of the city and new quests!

need some help....i have this game up to version 1.2 but it doesnt look exactly like in this video.....for example at 1:22 i have never seen that kind of shootgun and those other "things" on the lower left of the screen (the UI)......

One of the best RPGs that were ever made... So sad why nobody delivers a sequel. I don´t know why this game only sold so few copys. because of the bugs? Look at Gothic this was a bugfest and still successful.

they're are actually people developpinh mods that get rid of the old clans and bring in new ones. they're called vtm the final nights, and vtm antitribu. they are both mods that you can download and install on bloodlines.

It´s so sad Troika Games closed their doors thanks Activision (FUCK YOU ACTIVISION, FUCK YOU). It´s the only game that give ever a full rating from 10/10. This game is one of best RPG´s for all times and the best Vampire Game EVER created.

@14sJakeB190 no mate... at least as they're shown in the Trailer. For example, the Bar Tender was supposed to be on VV's Strip Club (Vesuvius) but in the RC he's at The Asylum. Chunk ain't at the Cementery in the RC, so he's first at the Art Museum in Saint Monica and then at LaCroix's building. Also, the damage was lowered to fit better at an RPG more than a Shoot-em-up FPS. Also some weapons where changed and, of course, the hud. Still, best game ever made.

Someone needs to AT LEAST make a remake of this game!. With up-to-date graphics, improved character customization, lots and lots of more clothing, armor and weapons, a whole revamping of the city and new quests!
and with someone I mean... Bethesda!, go and make me a game based on the world of darkness universe, and while you are at it make tes5 or a smiliar game, many of us would be eternally grateful, ty!

@Xramas because every great game or movie needs to be updated to modern times / technologies every once in a while so that the new generations and fans of old can enjoy from a great game like this. and because I liked the theme in bloodlines and would like to play another game like this. In my opinion the graphics were shitty even by the year it came out, I thought the combat system needed improvement and It would be nice to have full character customization, more weapons and clothing. "IMO"

@Xramas NO remake or sequel will be made, and if it ever gets done, you don't have to play it. but I do would like to play a more up-to-date version of this game/universe, sequel or remake I don't care. Improved graphics and gameplay don't make the game but if they keep what made the game great and improve on some areas then it will be just as good if not a better game. keep your "facts" to yourself and don't ever respond back to me unless you have something intelligent to say.

And secondly: i have read your posts and if you could please go back and read my posts then im saying that i know that it is your opinion and what i was pointing out was that they don't NEED to make a remake. because if you actually look up what Bethesda said about the game they said that they were satisfied with the final version of the game.

@Xramas where did I contradict myself?, I think my point was clear; I said that I would love to play either a sequel or "at least" an up-to-date version (remake) of this game, why?, because I already played it extensively and want something new but similar. as much as I loved this game I think it's old and could use improvements and with "need" i mean that it would be great "for me" if it happened. what did bethesda say about what game?, vampire was made by troika games and they no longer exist.

@Xramas well if you read my original post again, I asked bethesda (for no particular reason, I just like the games they make) to make ME a new vampire game and a new elder scrolls game (personal wish), it wasn't directed to anyone and it was my own personal wish. I'm sry you failed to understand the meaning of my original message, although it looks like a few people agree with me, and a few others don't, probably mainly because I put bethesda in there. and no I did not contradict myself.

I finished almost seven times with different clan, and that means to love a game: D!
