Es del musical del Fantama de la Opera, nada que ver Nightwish Jaja con la exepción de que reversionaron el tema al metal, nada más. No sé por qué siempre surgen las comparaciones con Tarja, habiendo tantas exponentes vocales en la lírica mucho mejores que ella, fuera y dentro del metal. En fin, siempre es un gusto escucharlo a Russell Allen !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know ... personally, I think Tarja and Marco from Nightwish sound much better than this version - not to say this is bad - it's not - Nightwish's version is just better, IMO.

Russell Allen is a beast. I would sell my nuts to a crackhead for a voice like his. The only person I could think of who maybe, repeat MAYBE, could out do Russell Allen in this song would be Roy Khan of Kamelot. He's got a tremendously powerful voice as well. As for the female vocals, nobody beats Floor. She's the total package. She can do the operatic vocals better than most, and she can sing normally better than most.

Even though I love Anette's voice, After Forever breaking up makes me REALLY wish Floor Jansen was their frontwoman now. She'd be able to belt like they want her too and cater to the whiny Nightwish fans with her classical voice.

Both Tarja and FLoor are great! They have different voice to sing.

dude... you're so totally wrong... do you know how many metal version of this song there are out there? you can't give nightwish all the credits... before them there was a "soft rock" version... I guess by Sara Brighman... and in the 80s... wow! lots of versions and not the same... so, stop saying things without knowing what you think you know... On the other hand, both Tarja and Floor are great singer. They do not have the same tone of voice, but both sing so fucking great... do not compare =)

tht's the most stupid comment ever, first of all : The phantom of the opera is not a Nightwish song, they made the cover in some metal way , the same as they are triying to do here, so we can say that all the singers try to imitate each other, and it's obvious than floors voice is deeper that tarja's permormance.

Also everyone should remember nightwish version is mostly on good quality , as example in DVD so you can't really compare that sound with an amateur handycam.
