Why are you guys comparing the Silversun Pickups to Nirvana? They are two completely different styles of music over a decade apart from each other. By the way, all music is good. Every band of every genre. How good a band sounds is relative. If it's raw talent you are referring to, that's a whole nother topic all together. Nirvana was inspirational but they weren't even that good. They were just like the Beatles. They were the first to do what they did, and that's it. Kurt Cobain was a good song writer but a terrible guitar player.

Yeah, I've actually listened to quite a few of their songs and some of their live performances. In the studio, Kurt played mediocre guitar riffs but they worked for that style of music. Live, he was unbelievably sloppy.
