Nooo...always, alWAYS, ALWAYS wear gloves when dealing with needles. I'm a nurse and it is a must when wear gloves esp when dealing with needles as you are breaking the skin barrier which is our body's first line of defense. You could have gotten nasty infection.s from bacteria, viruses, and what not. Remember "PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE" so always practice safety first. :)
