I believe that they are rushing through their contract with Warner Bro's because I remember a few years ago, they tried to get out of contract with them but had to make seven albums under their name. Why, you ask? Go through the lyrics of Meteora and count how many times you see the words, 'pain' or some form of the word 'lying'. Meteora was them at their worst. MTM was definitely a step up (and yes I'm aware of the song pun).

I'd say MTM had more than it's fair share of good songs. Comparison:

MTM: Given Up, WID, NMS, SotD, In Pieces, TLTGYA,BIO (live only)

The problem with the comparison of albums is all the albums are pretty damn good. Having to choose between these albums is like being told you can only have sex with one of these ladies: Jessica Alba, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Megan Fox, or Hyori Lee (don't know who she is? look her up). In the end, you're still fucking a hot chick.
