@FishboiFishboi Depending on where you are in the states it varies, but at night you can't go wrong with a texas rigged 10inch power worm or a football jig, color I don't think really makes a difference but I usually stick to really dark hues, the blacks, pumpkinseed, brown. The fish are keying in on vibration (water displacement). Also don't forget topwater always in black.
when fishing the marinas by day do you have any tips. i have been using a shacky head 6 inch worm but only catching smaller fish. Would you throw a jig or 10 inch Tx rig in the summer
I usually use a ten inch power worm with a pegged 1/4oz bullet weight. Sometimes I will rig a senko the same way. There really is not a lot of difference in catch rates with with different soft plastics on this technique. However, dark and contrasting colors do outperform lighter colors. As the bait will be silhoutted against any dock lights that may be present.
From shore fishing in the late may through the summer what lure/worms would you prefer to use??? Any help will work thanks!!
Thanks, Dakota
