As a Japanology student it saddens me to see the amount of people that want to study Japanese because of ANIME...

Japan is definitely NOT an anime!

I know several people who started off in my Japanology class solely because they "loooove anime" and say "kawaii!/sugoii!" all the time.

They didn't even get through the first semester.

I hate expert village when it comes to cooking shows since every thing is done in segments with no clear sequences on YouTube. So you get bits and pieces of it. I am not really sure why they are so short, since most people can post 10 minute videos. But for speaking a new language, this amount of video space is perfect. Hahaha! And then I forgot my actual question I was going to ask about this lesson... it sounds like you are saying "moshi mosh" as in there is no "i" or "e" sound on the second word. And I have replayed it many times and half the time it sounds like there is no "i" at all like when you are refering to a long time again, you say "mosh mosh". So am I missing some thing or you are saying it differently or is the second "i" silent... but then why write it out?

@Jerrid3 Yo tip of advice, when listening to ANY language everything is always slurred to some degree, for example when you hear the japanese number "one" its said to be "ichi (いち”, but when actually used sounds like "ich" , so yeah there's tons of words were this occurs especially when using the japanese word is/are/am would be written "desu (です)” but when spoken tipically sounds like "dess"
