best thing about this band is they don't follow trends, as some bands do and fall flat on their feet. They still produce the most amazing songs even after over 30 years in the business. Legends.

Nice track. I think its great how Simple Minds failed to evolve into something other than the exact same sound they are famous for. They have not changed a single bit. and that will keep old fans happy but it does them no credit to their reputation by being unable to progress in any direction and sound like they did during their 1980s hey day.

PS Jim Kerr looks like he has down syndrome.

En nog meer goed nieuws. In de European Top 100 en de Vlaamse Top 40 staat Graffiti Soul op 9. In NL zakt GS helaas naar 36. Charts zijn niet alles bepalend maar natuurlijk wel leuk. Het belangrijkste is echter dat GS weer een ouderwets goede SM laat horen. Kan nauwelijks wachten om bijvoorbeeld This is it live te horen.

For the first time since, maybe 1982, Der Minds are getting good reviews from the British Music Press. As for me, well I have a Johny and the Self Abusers singles bought in 1977, and thought they had peaked in 1981 with Sons & Fascination. Maybe I'm getting old, but this sounds pretty bloody good! Almost so good as to be a memory of May 2009!

Faddy's right. This is 5-star material. When you listen to it focus a wee bit more on the great guitar textures than on Jim's voice. That'll take it up a notch.

It's definitely 5 stars worthy. Rockets is great. The album is even better. After so many years they still love making music. And thats great. I'm going to visit Coldplay in september in Arnhem but I even look more forward to visit Simple Minds on PinkpopClassic.

Black&White uit 2005 was al goed, maar Graffiti Soul is nog beter. Ook de bonus CD In search of the lost boys is yzersterk. Simple Minds op hun best. Verheug me op Pinkpopclassic.
