  • and someone explain that buzzer goin off almsot constantly. what it was warning the driver of,or what its purpose was?

  • Make a vid of the skidsteer

  • now thats something I could see you with Charlie!

  • you get you a new skid steer

  • I believe he could use a headlight.

  • @Fordfanforlife777

i think that is how they identify the one to be sold...All the trucks he bought had the drvers headlight broken out...

  • @copperheadmarine Wonder why they didn't use a less costly method, like oh I don't know, a big for sale sticker or something?!

  • Is he ever going to finish that off road truck he started rebuilding?

  • Thats awesome right there!!!!! I cant get over all of the articulation that thing has!

  • now thats a truck right there

  • If you had a Canadian Deuce and a half it would come with a 6V53 and Allison Automatic under the hood but the old ten tonners were replaced with a Swiss design back in the '90s. Gotta love all that suspension articulation on those things.

  • @bert26a really? the military could still get and did use 2 cycle detroits until just a few years ago here..the last ones said MTU on them...they were higher hp than civi's and had higher compression...some 53's had 23:1 compression ratio...OMG the tree huggers would stroke out with all the Nox's produced from that high of compression...No one can tell me what harm they do? Only that they are produced in a diesel....

  • @copperheadmarine They haven't stopped using 6v53's here the new and rebuilt M113's and a new variant of them called the MTVL are using a electronically turbo charged version of the 6V53 apparently they have over 400 hp. I'll try and find the article if you like?

  • @bert26a That would be interesting to read...DDEC system no doubt as far as the electric controls?

  • @bert26a Sent you a message on Facebook bud.

  • @bert26a not to be a dick but the " deuce and a half" AKA the MLVW in Canadian army terms actually came with an 8.2 liter GM 4 stroke putting out 165 hp and 400 ft lbs of torque as a former army mechanic i was well aquainted with them. you are right about the MTVL it has a lengthed M113 chasis and up to 400 hp they also made the TLAV which kept the original size and was rated to 300 hp but could be set to 400.

  • The true UniMog rescue tool.

  • That truck is awesome.

    Kyle

  • Got the whistler turbo that's for sure.

  • There a go Charlie Big Blue needs a friend! you will never get stuck hauling your float

  • It has awsome axle flex on the rear axles, knew they moved like that just didnt know they would move that much.Nice truck for sure

  • I wish we could get stuff like that here in Canada, are Military sucks all we have is 5 guys with some old pellet guns they got for $15 from walmart.

  • @welderboy14 Actually we've got better stuff like the HLVW which is cabover a lot of the older stuff has been past on or is in the process of being sold off.

  • whats it got for a moter?

  • @caterpillar941b 855 Cummins Super 250... Whats in the Superdog with no Turbocharger...Still 14 litres though, so plenty of torque..

  • @copperheadmarine cool. it would be sweet with a detroit in it

  • @caterpillar941b it would sound cool!

  • @copperheadmarine time to make big blue into a 6x6 lol
