As a Father of two young children I find This scene very hard to watch. Kingsley delivers the most incredible preformance in this part of the movie.

You can feel his pain and fustration as he runs down the halls of the hospital and also during prayer. ( I will let the birds cover me and peck out my eyes) If god was to heal his son is one of the promises to god he made. Truly a Gifted and diversified Actor

The only problem I had with the story was the unbelievably stupid cop. At some point common since should have taken hold & told him to forget this mess; go home and take care of his children. Ben Kingsley was just genius here. Wonderful heartfelt scenes.

No, Ben Kingsley SHOULD have won. Sean Penn was great in Mystic River, but no performance came anywhere close to the greatness of Kingsley in this one.

This film just blew me away, my eyes were red raw by the time it had finished, very convincing acting and Sir Ben Kingsley steals every scene he is in. Very emotional film, if it doesn't effect you in some way you must have a heart of stone.
