  • The girl did a good job acting. The guy not so much, all he did was shake his head? Editing and camera work nicely done, just a little to long of a shot of the car burning. Fake flames shown too long. I liked it.

  • lolololololololol thats funny hahaha he is sipping on a slurpie

  • Furthermore, film making is an art form, you can't apply statistics to it. Look at the Goodfellas steadicam shot; its over 2 minutes long and its one of the most respected shots of all time amongst the film community. What if as a child, someone told Martin Scorsese that the average hollywood shot was only 3-4 seconds long?

  • All I can say is... bitch...

  • Do you aspire to be the next Spielberg or Cappola? If so, make your film available to the opinion of veterans in the field who will give you constructive criticism and show you a clear direction to pursue. So,

turn your passion into a profession at the International Short Film Competition at Aahān 2011 hosted by the Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management in Mumbai, India. With over 1000 short films from 43 countries being screened over the period of the last 3 years.

    It’s Lights, Camera, Aahān!

  • Should add some debris into your explosion:)

  • ((( HeY Nice MontaGe Video!! Are you use ''ViDEoCopiLot Action 2 '' For the car explosion? I like the sequence used for the vid nice joB ))) Greeting from SWISS :)

  • @1CLODOS yep. thanks

  • this isn't bad. but your shots run a little long. Most hollywood films change shots every 3-4 seconds. which adds up to about 15 shots every minute. you had some nice shots but if you put in a little more time filming, you'd have an even better film. good first attempt!

  • @dreamdemon99 3-4 seconds? yah right there is no set time for shots

  • @thegreatbrandony technically no...but it's a fact that on average hollywood shots run at that length. if you want a more cinematic effect, it's always a good idea to see how the pros do it. for more action oriented scenes--faster cuts, and more of them. for drama--fewer cuts and slow moving shots. read up kiddo

  • @dreamdemon99 Yeah, and in Chicago, the average temperature is 51 degrees, but that doesn't mean its the best temperature to heat your house to. Even assuming that Hollywood is the best place to look for film advice, what good is this statistic? The length of shot is an artistic choice. There is no right way to do it. Besides, as you said, some are longer and some are shorter, so whats the point?

  • @dreamdemon99 And is that really what young film makers should aspire to? Making the "average hollywood" film? The average hollywood film is an hour and a half of bullshit with very little purpose or artistic merit. Finally, and I know this is off topic, but seriously, "read up kiddo"? As if your criticism wasn't already dripping with misplaced condescension. This is a deplorable way to critique a film.

  • @dreamdemon99

this is inaccuracy. pacing is different for every scene and movie. and hollywood isn't a standard to follow, it is only a popular form of the art.

  • idk if its my computer but i cant here anything
