It's such a damn shame. Two of the greatest legends that ever lived have been taken away before their time. Champions in the ring, champions in life, champions forever. That's Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero. Never forget the names, people. Leave the bad memories behind and cherish what these two men gave us during their time. Thank you. These words come from from the heart. The fact that Eddie and Chris have left us can never be erased but the memories they gave us will never be erased. They gave their lives, bodies and heart just to give us something to remember, and remember we shall. I hope to God that none of you who are familiar with the words "Latino Heat" and "Rabid Wolverine" will ever forget how much they mean to us. The measure of a man is not how he dies, but how he lived. Benoit was an amazing person in life, there can be no dispute in that. Yet, because of the way he died, and what he did before he took his life. He is labeled a murderer. Those who once upon a time would pay tribute to him, distanced themselves from his legacy, for fear of bad publicity. The media twisted his image into that of a phycopathic, sadistic man who didn't care in the least about taking the lives of his family.

I would bet my soul that if we had never learned how he had died than we would heald him as a legend taken before his time, just as we heald eddie guerrero (May the lord rest his soul.) in the same way.

I will always remember the many fond memories benoit left me with as a former WWE fan. The intensity of his matches, the obvious passion and drive to be the best of the best. It's, to this day, awe inspiring for me.

I agree with you. benoit was a great entertainer, his matches were very intense. I hate that the media ashamed his memory by labeling him as a psycho murderer. He just had lots of problems in personal life and he couldn't handle them. Great story with a horrible ending.

I can't pretend that the good times, including me crying in my living room when Benoit won at Wrestlemania XX, never happened. it was later investigated and discovered that over a 3 day period chris murdered nancy and daniel and then hung himself in the weight room of his home.
