If you were just using it for HD playback, why didn't you buy a cheaper card? Because this is overkill for 1080 p, integrated Intel graphics can do that.
Sorry I got back so late. I am happy with it. This has a 120mm intake fan blowing on it. I don't remember what the temp were (I sold this rig). They were very low for a fanless card.
The 9600gso from what I can see. I almost got a fanless 9800 gt. It was a dual slot card and a little more than I wanted to spend. I tried to keep the build under $600.
This rig was aimed at Home theater rather than gaming. It will do ok for an average gamer. Tweaktown does a number of benchmarks with this card. Have a look at the results at their site. It averaged around 24.3 FPS on Crysis at high settings @ 1280x1024 res.
you have not madea a mistake Standard clock for the 4670 memory is 2000 MHz 4 a ddr3 and 2200 mhz 4 a ddr4 4670 version they most likely little declocked due to passive cooling from 2000 2 1746 mhz or 873 mhz real clock
Nice build so far, i fukin love your case man. I am planning on a similar build.
CM Elite 341
Asus M4A785TD-M EVO
Athlon II 240 AM3
HIS IceQ 4670
Ballistix DDR3 4GB Ram
500GB WD Caviar Blue
OCZ Stealthxstreme 500W
If you could let me know where you got that mirror paint and what tools you used to make the window hole on the side of the case as well as the actual window and making holes in the window for fan I would really appreciate it. Is there any technique to painting with mirror paint?
I"m working on a video log of what I did to make this look this way. I'm using the existing footage I have and possibly introduce new footage with the tools I used to help others get an Idea of what you need to do. I'll try to answer some of you question with my next post.

@FRURMELLL I bought this incase I got the urge to play WoW or Cryis on a 40" HD lcd.
This was an experimental build to see if I had what it took to build mod and paint a nice looking pc with decent power.

No, I runs pretty cool too. I like it. I sold this rig so I can build another gaming rig.

okay thanks i like passive cards even though i can't overclock it but the life time of the card is great!

I never mentioned when I posted before: I have the fanned version of the Sapphire HD 4670.
It's not bad for gaming, but it's not great.
WoW @ Max setting @ 1920x1080 with avg of 40 fps
acethebunny 2 years ago
Cool. I was wondering what kind of FPS this would get on WoW. I ran a stress test on it before I selling and it only got up to 49/50c under load.
I'm saving up for another build.

looks like a nice card, why it's not for gaming ? not enough power ? can I use it to play street fighter $ ?

Great choice man.. Sapphire is a solid choice for graphics cards. And you have the added benefit of no noise!

Thank you. I'm just trying to put some of the finishing touches on the build. I ran into a problem with the cpu cooler and the pannel fan touching.
