No it isnt weak if you are using a Bible that hasnt been tampered with. I have a complete Bible. Most protastants use a bible that has had 7 books removed by Luther. The Catholic does have authority. The Catholic has 2000 years of history with a strong foundation.

oh no I understand perfectly. I knew about these verses for some time now. I just happened to come across this video right after the whole debate, so I kinda thought it was a funny coinicidence. I don't know how they can say that catholics made up Purgatory when Jews tesitfy a belief in such a place since the times of Christ. It makes me so angry when people call themselves christians and yet they bash other religions and deny any evidence that contradicts their beleifs.

well i did send you a pm (hope it isnt overwhelming i think im going to put it in my description box). first the Catholics did not make it up..they may have set it doctrine...like they did the Trinity in the 300sAD but that doesnt mean that it hasnt been taught before it was set as a doctrine...how we know this is through the Early Church Fathers..it is funny how these people refuse to accept certain doctrines of ours and accept others like Trinity and baptism..

and it still amazes me how even the church fathers spoke of the immaculate conception, the papacy, tradition, and other catholic dogmas before the Bible was compiled 300 yrs. after Christ's death (33 A.D.). It still amazes me how they can say the church was created some 1,700 yrs. ago when clearly writigns dating back 2,000 yrs. evidently prove that a catholic church had already existed. Like I said, it makes me so angry when they deny any evidence that prooves them wrong.

what is more funny than that is when they start saying "the bible says this and that"...and they put all their faith in the Bible...when I ask them "How do you know that the bible you have is inspired? who announced it to be the Word of God?" they say "the bible says so"...I then say "well the koran says so too and the book of mormon are you saying that you will believe any book that says so?" or when i ask them to prove to me that scripture alone can stand alone...they cant do either

Many denominations think just because they except Our Lord Jesus as saviour that will automatically grant them entrance in heaven, and that's not correct Only pure clean souls can enter heaven. Purgatory is place created by God's infinite LOVE

The BIble says that "God loved the world so much that he gave his only son so that whoever believes in him will not perrish but have eternal life" John 3:16.....probly the most know verse in the whole Bible, but it would sujest (from my point of view) that a person needs only to accept Jesus as saviour and that is good enough to automatically grant them entrance in heaven. Thoughts?

there is some flaws in your statement. this is not true for I have backed up what I said in the video. The bible also says this: not everyone saying "lord, lord" will inherit, it also says those who perserve to the end will be saved...it also says those thinking they are secure, may fall.. it also says describes sharers in the Holy Spirit who then fall away..it also says nothing defiled enters Heaven, it also says if sin AFTER receiving truth, judgement remains. You need more than belief.

mt. 7;21, Mt. 24;13, 1 cor 10;11-12, Hb 6;4-6,Heb. 10;26-27...it also says remain in his kindness or you will be cut off Rom 11;22..you need more than just "faith" heck satan has faith and believes in Christ...you need faith and works. you are NOT gaurenteed salvation just by believing. nothing unclean enters Heaven Rev. 21;27. it also says you will not be released until paid last penny Mt. 5;26...Purgatory is nothing bad

I agree...however I know im a sinner...and i do go to confession regularly but im not perfect...i know i will probably be in purgatory for a long time (in human time that is)...That is why I pray for the souls (NOT TO BUT FOR) in purgatory so when they enter Heaven they can pray for me...

there is God's grace but when one sins you are out of God's grace and imperfect...dont ignore all the other scriptures to fit that there is no purgatory..Paul is telling how to live..there is times when you can miss purgatory and go to Heaven but you have to be in God's grace without sin but if a person dies without repenting but the sin isnt mortal..that person will have to go to purgatory because NOTHING AT ALL can be defiled entering heaven..
