@SLMOSSAD, it's ironic in the context of tenuous Jewish-Muslim relations. Obviously many Middle Eastern Jews and Arabs share semitic roots, but often people just imagine the very real derision that exists, to the exclusion of the similarities of these two groups. Often when I listen to "Jewish" music, it sounds so closely related to that of many Arab/Muslim communities ... like this beautiful music.
@CheezInspector ... not ironic at all...Jews have lived in Arab countries from the time of the Babylonian exile (around 600 B.C.E) until they were expelled in the 1950's
