sir do you remember my father Somnath ji got his hip replacement surgery from you and somebody referred my uncle baldev singh to another doctor in ludhiana and he got his hip replacement surgery done in 3.25 hours .but now my father's hip is working perfectly without any pains but my uncle baldev ji still visiting that doctor for treatment from last 9 months .so i can openly say that there is no orthopedic surgeon in India who is doing all this with speed and perfection.

@visaplusconsultants do not understand what surgeon has to do in so much of time.if you know the answers in an examination,ud finish writing well before time,or else you keep on scribbling.

i know of a surgeon who takes 4-1/2 hours to do a knee ,and most of his postops are into one complication or other.

SPEED is NEVER the criteria[except in some cases]....but it shows the teamwork and mindset and experience.

now the surgeon of the US i was talking about had done 6500 arthroplasties over 35 years and we have done the same over 12 years.

we sometimes discharge the patient in one day......Ever heard of day care knee replacement?

Why dont you come over .Your stays on me .My average speed is 12-13 min.[without closure].GO OVER to the OXFORD KNEE - 1 VIDEO ,youll get the xrays and the positions of the implants too.

after doing some 6500 joint replacements,believe me, only a moron would misplace the components.

if you see the video carefully,the time is without the suturing and the closure.so take 4 more min for that.

AND BELIEVE ME - there are no medical perils to a fast and precise surgery.

@orthonovahospital I can't belive the extent of cheating here. Just cementing will take 10 mins leave everything else.At the end of the procedure this poor patient has a FFD( the knee even doesnot go straight). Why cheating? You can tell the truth and still have an impact. May be say you do it in 30-35 mins. Thats still very fast but possible.

last time i was in the USA,in one of the hospitals with a respected surgeon in New Jersey,he said he had done a knee replacement in 16 min.

his assisstant winked at me as he had seen my video earlier.

SPEED IS NEVER THE CRITERIA [only sometimes IT MAY save lives].

the patient was of severe dilated cardiomyopathy with LVEF of 30% and less.

she was refused surgery at all centres in the state.we took her up [explaining the risks.. of course]WE took 5min 30 sec for a PHR ,anaesthesia for 12 min.out of the hospital in 4 days with assisted walking.

the Orthopaedic community can laugh With this "10 minutes " knee replacement .the incision takes 2-3 minutes the exposure of the joint 1-2 minutes , the preparation of the femur ( sized , cutting blocks , takes 2-3 minutes) also the tibia the balance of soft tissue Takes at least 2-3 minutes . the probe of materials takes 1-2 minutes . if you use cement you need 10- minutes . As I see you have skin incision 15-20 cm you need 10-15 minutes to restore that . Please be honest and serius

@orthonovahospital we got a distress call just a few days back by a famous cardiologist of the state.he wanted to get his patient [heart 23%] fixed for a hip fracture in the least possible time.We normally do a DHS[dynamic hip screw and plate] in 6 minutes,what other surgeons do in 1 hr 15 min,.you have to see to believe it.he wanted it to be done in 20 min.way off the mark.WE DO NOT COMPROMISE ON THE QUALITY..as soo many people have faith in us.WE cannot fail them.The patient is walking today.

this type of procedure and speed is really helpful in people where the Anaesthesia is to be short,say, cardiac patients.the surgery is over even before the body registers the changes in the hemodynamics.compare it to a person undergoing 2hrs operation,and still the components are malaligned.ha

normally,the patient is made to stand up in 12 hours time,toilet seat next day walk 1 km after 6 days.gun wounds are different.
