The reason that it is not considered to be appropriate in the world today is BECAUSE of the fact that people are in darkness. And I think it is rather impolite when people simply refuse to hear the facts.
The fact that people consider such an unreasonable attitude to be "tolerance" (as most people do) only reveals that they are indeed in darkness, and they are blind to such hypocrisy. Most people who profess "tolerance" today are intolerant toward anyone who disagrees with them.

Christ is not about religion, brainwashing or hatred. Religion is man's attempt to reach God. Christ is God reaching Man. Please watch the rest of Roger's Myanmar series (posted tonight). You will see that Roger clearly displays the Gospel of Love and Salvation in helping a poor and needy community.
Referring non-Christians as people in the darkness is not an appropariate word in today. Instead of it, you should choose a polite word for it.
