NH free staters are anarchists and they dont need no stinking papers, there state allows people over 18 to not wear seat belts, and they are allowed to drive around with out insurance. The 'peace officers' came back and asked them about 'The Free State Project' out of nowhere when this was supposed to be a routine traffic stop and you don't think this is 'news worthy'?

I live in Missouri, its pretty common practice for them to ask to search your car at any stop. Most people who don't know their rights just say "sure" and the officers go rummaging though your personal effects. It's also not uncommon for them to call a k-9 unit to assist in these searches. In northern Missouri it isn't that uncommon to be stopped for no reasons other than being "suspicious" and have officers ask to search. It has mostly to do with the Meth manufacturing in this area.

LOL you need to read my comment again friend. I never said it was right, constitutional, or anything of that nature. I said that it is a common occurrence here. You honestly think people don't realize it isn't right or lawful? They do this to everyone, even the elderly. My grandmother who was in her mid 70's, just before she had her stroke was pulled over nightly and she let those fools search her car every night. This has been going on for nearly 20 years here.

Our courts in rural Missouri are so corrupt most people can't even get a fair trial. Know a guy who lost his child for neglect and abuse, was proven innocent and the still won't let him have his kid back. Judges and Attorneys (it only come out after they end up dead) caught up in drug trafficking rings, law enforcement infringing on the rights of the people, it all happens here. 90% of the time public defenders sell you down the river.
