I'm not that familar with that song but I could hear John Philip Sousa's "Washington Post March" in parts of that Schubert piece. Now I know where J.P. Sousa got his influences. Oh, and by the way, nicely done.
Fr. Tarrega was a good fellow of F Schubert and by himself he loved classic guitar. Tarrega had transcripted to guitar a lot of Schubert composition. They sound on it very nice, it just same like you did on of it. Nice workout!
ha.. I played this in piano lessons. I've never tried it on guitar.. I'm not technical on guitar though I'd like to try more classical stuff. I though it was neat that I recognized this.. I saw the name schubert and he's one of my favorites because I like his waltzes.. so this was nice.
