@MegaJUVAS At the time I built it, the materials were around 10k, but prices have come way down on electronics since then. The monitors, PC, Triple PS3s, Triple Xbox 360's were over $7,000 alone at the time, plus the sim, speakers, dashboard, seat, paint, mounting bracket and lots of other little MISC items that ended up bringing the total to around 10k.

I actually made a homemade Veyron simulator for Forza 3! It's in my garage takes up the entire thing, with all 100% replicated Veyron body functional doors, and the XBOX running it is hidden away and is turned on by pressing the Engine start button like in a real Bugatti Veyron which then pushes the power button inside, and then I have a custom formed screen to go over where the windshield would be! The whole setup cost me over 8 grand. I'll probably sell it for 14, then make a Lamborghini one.

@id786 I built this thing close to 5 years ago, at the time it was around $10,000 total but for 10k you can build something much nicer today. I'm still a few months away from building the PC for the new sim but it will be a i7 with two GTX590s in SLI... the pc in this video started as a 8800GTX and switched to the GTX280 when it was released.

Just wait till you see the new one, it's 100x better than this one.
