@agrotikokomma Keep in mind Binx and Billie Jean were dirt poor. For Binx that Honda Elite was like freedom from the poor home life him and Billie Jean had grown up in. I have a cousin a bit older that grew up in Tennessee and he at one time owned an Elite. He went through two of them over the yrs but it was the only real possession I ever recalled him owning. My guess is the production team wanted Binx and Billie Jean to appear more realistic in appearance.
