  • i LOVE Resees!!!!!!!

  • Dude i love you, you help soo much especcially because i have a crappy el espańol teacher

  • How would you tell if you are using the correct indefinite and definite nouns for a sentence?

  • Gracias Senoria, urgh! I just don't understand espanol!

  • i learned spanish for half a year in my old school and i now have to learn french in my new school, watching your vids help me a lot! Muchas Gracias Senor Jordan.

  • Thanks for the video, we are doing definite and indefinite articles in my SpanishI class and your video is very helpful.

  • @threeamazingmen

You look at the last letter most of the time....

    chico Masculine (o)

    chica Feminine (a)

Sometimes it isn't clear Pantalones Masculine (es)

    Or sometimes like the

    El dia

  • How do you know whether a spanish word is femine or masculine?

  • @ilovedavidsilva if its a noun, you dont.... otherwise look at the article that comes before it.

  • Felicitaciones :) Creo que enseñas bien el español :)

  • Now this is where I have a light problem. The dictionary translation for "some" is Algo.

  • @androstempest

'algo' is more 'something' in most cases.

  • @tontitofrito Algunos chicos. Algunas chicas. ¿Donde te dejas estas formas incontables?

He visto 3 videos tuyos y todos con errores. Esto es como si yo me pongo a enseñar Polaco.

    Tylko nie ma sensu.

  • hola senior! I have a question..if i am using the verb "ser", do i still need to use an article? for example, if i wanted to say " i am a pretty girl" do i need to say " soy una chica guapa" or is "soy chica guapa" sufficient? . Is it different for professions? for " i am a teacher" can i just say "soy professora" or is the "una" still needed?

  • @sp321naq

With professions... the article is omitted (not used). Otherwise, it is generally used. "Soy profesor" but "Soy un hombre alto y delgado"

    -Sr. J

  • @tontitofrito Thanks senior! I get it now! :)

  • @sp321naq para profesiones es diferente y en este caso es suficiente con decir soy profesora, soy ingeniero, soy abogado etc. Pero para decir que tu eres con un adjetivo se escucha mejor que digas un o una. por ejemplo ¨soy una chica guapa¨ ¨soy un chicho inteligente¨ ¨soy un hombre alto¨ ¨soy una mujer inteligente¨ ¿lo ves? . Espero haberte ayudado. soy de méxico n.n

  • I see you have problems pronouncing the J in reloj. :) Hehe please don't take this coment a mock. Just practice a little that word.

  • @MrFreakHeavy

Someone else commented on how I pronounced it wrong. But I've never heard anyone exaggerate the 'j' sound at the end before. Ni modo. :-)

  • @tontitofrito

I think your Spanish is just fine. I wouldn't woory too much about the pronunciation of a single letter since in many countries the j is stressed more than in others. We have watched many of your lessons in my Spanish class and we enjoy your work. Good job!

  • Really gud Video I have a question in las carpetas cant you say unas carpetas ??

  • las = the

    unas = some

  • @seenuluvsmusic "Yo tengo unas carpetas", sí, es correcto.

  • thanks i have a test on this tommrow and i left my stuff at school but this helped me

  • why is dictionary for example in a guy form, and carpet (for example) is in girl form?

  • It's just the way the language works.

It comes from Latin, in which nouns are also masculine or feminine.

  • well how can u tell which to use?

  • Well think of it this way, why do you say

    an apple

    but

    a pen

Because apple begins with a vowel and pen doesn't. The pronunciation of the also changes depending on whether the word begins with a vowel, i believe this is something like grammatical gender.

Usually in Spanish the end of the word tells you if it's masculine or feminine, o = masculine, a = feminine, and of course the word for woman would be feminine no matter what. Be glad you're not learning German;no way to tell the genders apart!

  • ty man

  • How do you know if to use "some" or "the" ??

  • You would have to be able to know the answer to a question in english before you learn it in spanish.. The pen, I'm talking about just one pen, Can I have the pen? Some is more than one, can I have some pens?

  • at 1:06 remember you have to pronounce "J" which is a bit harder than English "H", so pronounce "reloJ".

  • you can also say "algunas cosas", or no?

  • Sip.. ¡muy bien!

  • BTW, you have great art. They really help with memorization.

  • Como se dice 'Some People' en español?

  • the best translation would be:

    'algunos' or 'algunas personas'

  • Alguna gente or

    algunas personas.

  • Some People = Algunas Personas... there u gooooooooo... later!!!

  • en relidad "some" es "algunos" o "algunas".

  • Gracias por su comentario. En realidad, se puede decir eso dependiendo del contexto en las dos formas.
