The press conference took place on 2008-Nov-17 in Tokyo, Japan featuring Jerry Yan and Ariel Lin as the leads.

On 2009-Jan-08, after management changes with the Japanese producers and problems with the script, Taiwanese producers were forced to postpone this drama indefinitely.

In Summer 2010, the male leads are Siwon and Donghae from Korean boy-band Super Junior.

i think Jerry will make a good Ren. ive seen him acting in Down With Love and he is a suitable match. i dont think Ariel is gonna cut her hair. a much better kyoko would have been Ella Chen, shes much more animared and she doesnt mind going all out. hmm hmm well i'll see how this comes out o.o!

I'd love to see Hideaki Takizawa acting the character of Ren, he is a handsome man and has a unique ability to display various emotional facets, you can see him like a very bad guy or a good one, and he can show a mature attitud with an angelic face. As Kyoko...match with Horikita Maki or Aoi Miyazaki.

What I don't like about this is that those taiwanese dramas keep mix and match the same actors and actresses. I'd like to see a drama with one well-known actor/actress as a lead and a fresh-face for the second lead. It would be more interesting.

i think i'd really like to see a jap version of this, though it'll be interesting to see how they create the story line with the TAIWANESE culture specially since a lot of the anime's episodes uses jap traditions(like the tea ceremony and wearing the kimono). as for the actors, in my opinion ariel is a great actress! i think she always does a great job conveying the right mood for extremely emotional scenes (which is what's needed for kyoko). I think jerry is ok, i havent seen his shows much.

I too think that Jerry is good looking, but in my imagination (again: my IMAGINATION) Ren shouldn't be played by an Asian actor (mix-blood is fine) because if you've read book no.19, you'll see that he's actually BLONDE. He dyed his hair black to make him look Japanese, although his structure can't hide the fact that he's mix-blood.

That's why Kyoko thought Kuon was a fairy when they first met.

And I really hope Ariel Lin plays Kyoka well. She always has the same cute and somewhat playful roles in her dramas. We need so her to Show us Kyoka's Sassy attitude and strong will!
