Check the attendance figures. Despite the team being below .500 and not to mention that the fan base is relatively small compared to teams like the Red Sox, the Rockies are in the top half of league. Arizona has been in 1st place in the division and they have lower attendance. If the Rockies were playing better this year there would be more people at the games and there is nothing wrong with that. Players get paid millions of dollars and owners are filthy rich they should earn that extra support
