  • love the video really good

  • some sweet info here

  • some great inforamtion here thanks

  • some really good stuff here

  • You people who do this are great. It is such a shame the state is oppressing like they are.

  • I found a rare vintage Bugatti in my old garage. WHY IS IT THERE? I don't even want it! I guess I'll just take it to the scrap yard and get my moneys worth.

  • so much diamonds and gold

  • What salary at the miner in american?

    I the Russian miner)

  • when i watched this, i thought about minecraft ._.

  • Nicely put together video

  • is this how minecraft HD would be like?

  • Very nicely presented.

  • at 6:30 is that all oxidized copper?

  • @hehe1mdead Yes that is oxidized copper, it slowly deposits on the ore bins in the wetter sections of the mine.

  • Do you have any more info. on thease mines that i can get from you .

  • @Mikes1000Toys All information can be found at Mojave Undergrounds main website.

  • Whats that machine the guy is using at 4:51 in the video?

  • @kdukes1995 That would most likely be the remains of an old, single-cylinder upright steam engine. The lever he's pulling is most likely controlling a Stephenson's link, a type of valve gear which allows double-acting steam engines to change direction. Amazing they left such a relic down in there!

  • @OlympicClassDandy You are right it is a steam tugger hoist used to haul ore and supplies up and down a nearby incline. We are currently in the process of carefully taking it out of the mine and restoring it in a nearby mining museum.

  • @stuartx09 I'm delighted to hear that! While finding those sort of things in old mines and abandoned areas is very cool, it's very nice to see those old technologies restored to their original condition. Best of luck, and thank you! Keep me posted if you can.

  • Some of the best hardrock mine video I've seen - very hard to illuminate in dark mines or caves - I've tried !! Great job!

  • Thanks for the ride, Very professionally done. Great Job.

  • How can i get permission to go there. My dad tried to take me there but when we got there it looked like kennecott took over and closed it all off. i was pretty bummed.

  • we have many abandond mines in australia i find the safest method is to lower a camera down old mines in areas which have very old mines rather then risking your life

  • wow! it's like the mine workers left everything to work another shift, this must of been so much fun to explore!

  • great video!!!

  • Awesome, now is that safe or legal to do in that mine? Also, in the begginning were you guys riding in a mine cart? If so, where did you find one that managed to work on the tracks properly and get to move that quickly. That looked really freaking awesome dudes!!!!!

  • wow..amazing mine

  • ah waer sound so peacfully

  • Would you happen to know if the mine cart system was originally electrified. "a Electric locomotive to move the mine carts around"?

  • 6:26 writing on the wall with a carbide lamp, ive seen that quite alot in our mines in our area too.

  • lol if you could rewind time and see the past events in that area. the workers making the mine, it is interesting

  • Love the carbide lamps! One of these days we'll get out there with you guys. Miners paradise.

  • abandoned mines are fun

  • The mine is privately owned and currently closed to visitors.

  • can i get the location of it i would like to visit it.... thx.

  • awesome video, but r u serious lighting a cigar underground ???

    wats up wit dat ??

  • The BLM does not own the mine at all. It is privately owned. Entrance can be obtained with the land owners permission.

  • @emike09fcmc Isn't this mine in Utah? If so, it's probably one of the few mines left that the state hasn't sealed or bulldozed shut in recent years.

  • So... how did they get the BLM to open this for them? I've been here and its all gated off, and these guys did a lot of shoveling to clear the tracks for that mine cart going in....

  • That only makes it more exciting.

  • @llloydy1 its a hardrock mine, the majority is self supporting

  • superb,i'd love to go to ophir

  • awesome video! very well shot

  • I freakin love that vid Mike!

  • what am I looking at around 4:56? snake eggs?

  • Those are chicken eggs. Probably 50-60 years old. Miners would 'suck eggs' as part of a meal or a snack to help keep their energy up. Raw eggs are very high in protein.

  • @pacificcoast it could be skulls from what i see but your guess is as good as mine.

  • THE BEST UNDERGROUND MINE FLIM EVER! nice big stopes, nice artifacts, and even carbide lamps that bring back the days when she was lasted worked!!! i could never get even close to such a high quality flim underground.

  • awesome! that place looks cool

  • Some very cool footage! Somebody should sponsor you guys so you can make more films like these!
