  • 5 YEAR'S OLD AND I KNOW WHAT GOOD MUSIC IS!

  • The original mix was much better. Gillan's fantastic screamed laughter from 4:10 to 4:20 has been lost in the mix, and can hardly be heard.

It's truly the high point of the song.

    Nevermind, thanks for posting.

  • @key2kingdom In my opinion, to all the remixed songs in this edition of "in Rock" have been given more emphasis to instruments' sound than vocals..

Also, I have to agree with the "Gillan's fantastic screamed laughter", which can be hear a lot better in the original one.

Anyway, thanks for highlighted the fact.

  • One of the best albums, which spawned the rock ever!

  • Halo9445 you are completley correct bro that didnt want all this shitty shitty commercialism like bands of today they just fucking rocked out, and rocked out hard.

  • Fucking brilliant rock band, Ian Gillan could certainly scream with the best of them back then.

  • I agree. Zeppelin was mostly hard rock and blues-rock.

  • SIMPLY FANTASTIC.

  • The beginning of metal!

  • ok what halo said was right not just those bands but almost all 70s-80s bands and songs also are immortal and will be immortal... ++ Halo..

  • as a matter of fact there's a video of Keith Moon playing with Zeppelin somewhere

  • Look, Sabbath, Zeppelin, Purple, the Who, Alice Cooper, etc., are all fucking immortal, stop arguing and comparing. Fact is, bands like Zeppelin, Sabbath, and Purple got along with one another and didn't compare themselves to others, because they each had their own distinct style. None of them worried about who was best, so why should any of us? It's pointless.

  • @Halo9445 Fact is Zeppelin was in another league of Sabbath and Purple, and I'm sure there was an intense rivalry and amount of jealousy between one another. How do you know what they did? asshole.

  • @Zoso709 Glad to see a lowlife loudmouth motherfucker like yourself searching ages-old comments to call my deceased brother an asshole. There wasn't any justification for that, you prick.

He knew that the same way I did- by picking up a fucking book or two about any of those three bands and reading a bit. Though I suspect you're mentally incapable of reading anything more than a few sentences. Bet ya didn't know Ozzy and Bill Ward would jam with Zep while Plant and Bonham would jam with Sabbath.

  • @Zoso709 Can't really speak for Purple, but there was no bad blood whatsoever between Zeppelin and Sabbath, as stated by band members themselves.

So fuck you and fuck your know-it-all bullshit attitude, sad thing is I wouldn't have ever seen this atrocious comment of your had he not asked me to manage his email affairs in his roughed-out will and testament.

    Have a nice day, jerkoff.

  • @Zoso709 Re-reading my comments, perhaps I flew off the handle a bit, but you have to understand that I'm still grieving my brother's (recent) death, and anything about him is emotionally wounding right now. I'm sorry for the harsh words.

  • @halo9449 Why are you sorry for the harsh words? You said nothing harsh, you just spoke about something that you and I do not know.

I don't even see what your brther's death has to do with a youtube comment about Deep Purple. But I mean in all honesty if your brother just died I think that stupid youtube's comments are the last thing you should be concerned about...

  • ¡¡¡ DEEP PURPLE was and will be, the influence of heavy metal, and this song is the sample. Before this song there is nothing.

  • Purple has harder sound that zepp, zepp is kinda closer to classic r n' r ...Purple is godlike!!

  • POWERFUL!!

  • This is not heavy metal, this is hard rock. The only metal band at that time was Black sabbaTH.

  • Hard'n'Heavy man. Highway star, burn, speed king influenced the heavy metal A LOT

  • UK: Zeppelin, Who, Cream, Sabbath

USA: Butterfly, Alice Cooper Band, Mountain, Vanilla Fudge, Blue Cheer, Sir Lord Baltimore

  • led zeppelin is hard rock , not metal..

    lol

  • Both bands were metal. Ozzy couldn't come close to screaming like Ian Gillan

  • HAIL THE MIGHTY PURPLE!

  • This was unparalleled at the time of its conception and it's all cause Ritchie wanted it this direction. He's my favourite God of the Deep Purple pantheon.

  • Great Album. I wish they had revisited this direction after Machine Head.

  • Show me a single "artist" today who could do such a song...

Wish i could go back few years ...

  • so fucking greatest song over the world!!!!!!!!!!-this is a birth place and birth time of Heavy metal!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song is one of my fav songs. I don't think zeppelin was better than these guys! Though most of my friends think so..

  • Respond to this video...
