I just read Maus I and II - truly riveting and deeply moving story that made a huge impact on me. I read it for a graduate english class, and I feel fortunate to have come across it. Bravo, Art Spiegelman.
@FR3DisGAY He wasn't sad he complained because his father threw it out without telling him or asking him. I'm pretty sure you would be a bit angered if something you liked was thrown out without them asking.
This is incredible- he's amazing!!!!!!! I was looking for Primo Levi and sort of ended up here but I'm so glad- definately a Library Angels discovery! Many thanks!
I like this cat a lot. "Art (lol) exists on the borderland between meaning and no meaning" - "Style is a capitalist invention". That's nicely put. When I read Maus the first time I couldn't think about anything else for weeks.
4:04 You've got big lips! You've got big tits!

I've just read MAUS for the first time- truly, truly exceptional. I consider it alongside Primo Levi in incredible writing of this subject.
