  • Great, great band. Hard, raw, driving music......those were the days.

  • blues from laurel canyon

  • Saw Stone the Crows perform this at Les Harvey's benifit concert in the Appolo Glasgow. Jimmy played his heart out in an extended version of his solo, absolutely mind blowing, a sadly missed virtuoso. RIP Jimmy.

  • I'm so glad to see Jimmy McCulloch's smile and free guitar play.

Colin Allen's drumming is so nice, too!

  • hell yeah

  • Jimmy sre was a smart skilled kid- he worked hard ad got to play with all the best musicians including McCartney. Who knows what he could have accomplished if he'd had a chance to grow up instead of being killed by his bad habit of using drugs. Jimmy could've been the next Clapton or Hendrix- what a pity

  • whats kind of guitar is jimmy using,Fender?

  • It's a Gibson Firebird, karsty11. It has a longer neck than most guitars giving the player more options. It's a beast of a guitar. Weighs a ton and has a bad reputation due to tuning problems.

  • Man oh man oh man!!! Where has this band been all my life!! I'm totally blown away by this incredible music!!

Can you imagine going to a gig featuring Budgie, Man, Stone The Crows & topped by Led Zep? I'd die happy if I snuffed it at the end of that show!

  • This video is officially available in much better qualitly !

  • one of the greatest rock bands!

  • JIMMY MCCULLOCH on guitar. What a talented guy, sadly missed.

  • Raith Ballroom - 1970something Les Harvey was the Yin to Maggie's Yang - they blew me away - I remember Les doing a "knee-slide" up to Maggie's feet on stage!!! 2 weeks later he was Gone!! Still 1st Class!

  • Wouldn't have minded doing that myself and licking her black suede boots ;-)

  • She could belt them out ......class.

  • Fantastic!!!

    Grandma Mary

  • if its good enough for weetimbhoy its good enough for me.....superb..

  • To be honest, I'd never heard of Maggie Bell before, but yeah... she's great. Glad I found this! Always loved Jimmy's playing, though. His playing on "Wings Over America" is amazing. ""Call me back again, Soily, Hi Hi Hi, Medicine Jar etc...

  • Gaun Yersel Sweet Maggie Bell The Maryhill Nightingale Glasgow`s Answer to Janis Joplin

and Let Us Shed A Tear for Tragic Les Harvie To Die in such a tragic tragedy.

  • What a great band!

Maggie Bell is my fav' female Vocalist ever.

Would love to see footage of 'Raining in your Heart' and

    'Sad Mary'.

  • Oooh please could anyone upload "Blind Man" from "Stone the Crows"? I had recorded this song from a local radio station 30 years ago but lost the tape. *errr* the tape's still here, but the sound is gone. To say ist with Groucho Marx: Time wounds all heels.

  • Saw the crows at clouds and I think it was jimmys first gig with them (any one remember) rushed out to mccomicks next day and bought an SG on HP

  • Maggie Bell the best female voice ever to come out of the UK and look at the number of albums the x factor manufactured WAG in waiting is selling...no justice...

  • The best female voice ever to come out of the UK and look at the amount of cds that x factor manufactured wag in waiting is selling...no justice Maggie!!

  • i saw stc a few times in the early 70s just before les harvey died on stage (what a guitarist).Stc still remain the best live band i have ever seen unbelievable.rip les

  • god i just love STC :D

  • superb stuff , wee jimmy was a superb guitarist , i remember playing football with him in cumbernauld. saw maggie earlier this year at the ferry , god she can sing

  • This is PURE talent. No studio effects & gimmicks, no glitzy media pretense and over publicity, no "spoilt rich kid" background and most of all NO attitude and posing. This type of raw talent went unnoticed back in the early 70s. It's what's missing from music today in large quantities. One of the best bands to come out of the UK.
