Not ONE resident of Tennessee has the right to bitch about the state run healthcare system that was put in place by the Clinton administration because if they do, here's some advice that I constantly see conservatives giving out: GET A JOB AND GET OFF THE STATE RUN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM.

Oh, wait. You can't, can you? Because without it, you would NOTHING and you know it.

Instead of bitching about what has been givin to you for FREE, get a job and buy YOUR OWN INSURANCE.

...all of a sudden that employee crisis just vanished seemingly overnight.

Why? Because suddenly we started seeing a mass of mexican immigrants flooding the streets who could barely speak english and were working these jobs without the benefits previously offered just one year before.

I would be more than happy to provide anyone a list of these businesses that stopped offering benefits and instead replaced their staffs with mexican immigrants.

The hypocrisy of Tennessee knows no bounds.

And illegal aliens in Tennessee? I have an answer for that also. In Gatlinburg, TN back in 2004, local businesses were in such a bind over having seasonal employees that they would advertise in newspapers within a 100 mile radius and still didn't have enough to meet the needs of seasonal employment, even though most of them would offer 401k, health, dental, club memberships, free meals, employee discounts, it just didn't attract enough to work during the high tourism season....then: cont.

I lived in East TN for over 30 yrs. I know first hand the monumental abuses of it's original conception by large corporations like DollyWood/Hershcend inc. who put ALL of Dolly's kinfolk on the state program to offset their seasonal employment and allow for them to have full coverage.

What amazes me is that the healthcare program of TennCare is still in place today in a regional electorate that votes so overwhelmingly conservative republican.

These people do not deserve to even have it.

It is amazing the loyalty our TN government has towards its citizens. They boot how many people off of TennCare? Then turn around and add illegals to the roles. Things have got to change. Fed Judge in TN ruled that illegals can now use fake or stolen social security cards to obtain employment. (He ruled it wasnt a crime) We need to change our governor and senate. Too many people are being pushed out of the way, while illegals are being welcomed with open arms.

My wife had to go to the hospital and later found that she had Multiple Sclerosis. The medical bills? over ten thousand dollars...Who paid for it? Tenncare. What is the worst of it all? Tenncare is cutting the wrong people off and leaving on people like illegal immigrants. My wife is loosing her coverage less than 2 months after finding she has a degenerative brain disease. Great job tenncare for covering her at first, but shame on you for dropping her once she costed you money.

Guess who was the brain child behind TennCare? Hillary Clinton! Tennessee was part of her pilot program for a National Health Care Plan. Thanks Al Gore and Hillary.
