  • プッチモニはやっぱこの初期メンバーが良かった!

  • 自分もそう思います。3人の個性・年齢のバランスがうまくマッチしてましたね。

  • this was actually before Minimoni even existed ^^ and it sold better too.

And both Mini Moni and Petit Moni are Morning Musume subgroups.

  • Why are all have the same name and why are subgroups, whats that xD wahaha

  • Morning Musume is one of the most succesful idol girl groups in Japan, and belongs to a big idol company known as Hello! Project, usually in large idol groups it's common to create subgroups from the main group to increase sales. There were 3 subgroups: Tanpopo, Petit Moni and Mini Moni, and they no longer exist.

  • I would check wikipedia and get updated on hello project. It's got 10 years of history. Then maybe you will understand subgroups and stuff like that.

  • Too bad wiki.theppn is still down. That's where the serious fans put all the info. The H!P articles at Wikipedia are incomplete and poorly written, and Wikipedia's copyright policy forbids almost all pictures.

  • I noticed! I supplemented it with googling the names and finding the pictures myself. Hey have you been a fan since the group first came out or more recently? Just curious lol I've seen you around the morning musume comments alot.

  • I've been a fan since the summer of 2006 -- about the time of the release of "Ambitious!" You see me here so much because I actively look for questions to answer, and my answers stand out because compared to the typical YouTube comments, well... *sigh*

But attracting more knowledgeable, articulate fans is precisely why I do it, so yay!

Incidentally, I also discovered them through YouTube.

  • yes! it was in the late 90's like 98 or 99 mini moni was made in 2000

  • ah look its kaa-san

  • Love machine reference ^_^

  • im scared.

  • I'm glad I'm not the only one!!

  • its so cute!

i love MM,W,Aya Matsuura and all the rest!!!

  • the song amazing for me , not use to that kind of music but ok .i don't know why but the rhythm (00:40-00:52) reminds me a balkan song called kalashnikov from goran bregovic (film underground E.Kusturica).

  • This song is nuts but awesome lol

  • i agree!all of MM rock!

  • Haha! I know!

I was wondering if I was the only one who noticed!

When you watch the concerts only old men and boys in puberty are there! XD

  • Its good music though

  • So boy groups are only for girls, and girl groups are only for more girls?

What are we boys allowed to listen to, then? Rap? Grunge? Industrial automation manuals on tape, as read by John Lithgow?

Please excuse me if I don't find that particularly fair or even entertaining.

  • Woah buddy!

    I'm a guy too!

I just thought it was funny that hardly any girls show up to their concerts!

  • I love Jpop more than rock.

I'd listen to it over rock, any day.

I was just pointing that well-known fact.

I have penpals in Japan, and when i ask if they like H!P, they usually say "lol no, im not a boy"

  • true true but the girls that are into H!P are the ones at all the try outs

  • if you even knew. im not saying all of the fans are pervs, but there is a large majority of them. if you ask any girl in japan if they like morning musume, they would say "lol im not a boy".

there are even yuris of H!P.

  • Yes, I know. Thank you for completely missing the point.

  • okay, what point were you making?

everyone is bashing me just because i stated something that i believed was true.

  • Uhh, no they wouldn't O.o;;

    Most people (including girls) would say "they're old". -.-;

(I still <3 them though XD)

  • You wouldn't know. Have you ever even made contact with an authentic Japanese person?

  • Excuse me? Where do you get off assuming such a thing? I speak to "authentic Japanese people" every day. I spoke to an "authentic Japanese person" just now, and he agrees with me. Do some research before you make ass-ish remarks. Jesus.

  • Oh really? What was their name?

Don't lie to me little girl, I can see past your white lies.

  • His name is Naoya, and he's my good buddy from Japan. Really, do you enjoy making an ass of yourself? It's quite amusing.

  • It's funny you mention that your "friend" is a guy, because we were talking about a female's perspective of momosu. Not a boys.

straighten up little one. before you come at me, get your chickens in a row.

  • A Japanese person who grew up with Momusu in the limelight would certainly know more of the general Japanese view of them than you would, don't you think? Tell me, do you even speak any Japanese?

His sister has the same view as he does, by the by.

    Sister. Female. Hmmm.

My college is right next to a school for Japanese girls, and most of them feel the same way as well. Would you care to tell them they're wrong?

  • I would care to tell you that you are lying, unless if you could tell me the name of the school and its location.

i dont need to forget to mention that clams is a large black woman. track is fast and loves apples. chin is a wiggly girl. norna loves spidermonkeys. and sunny is the brightest baby ever.

  • And by the way, asking for the school and location PUBLICLY is total stalker behavior.

  • and by the way, beating around the bush is evidence that you are lying.

i asked the name of the so-called "all japanese girl school". not yours.

  • I meant to say "do onto others as you'd want them to do to you." I think that's how you say it.

No, it's not evidence that I am lying. I NEVER lie, offline or not. I don't support liars.

  • lol okay.

think what you want, but my name is clams

  • okorundayo

  • dobutsu no mori

  • "Never Lie" is an statement that can never be true. It's almost impossible to never lie either it big be small of large. Try not to use such oversimplified statements like that.

  • I have to disagree. It is possible not to lie because it's a choice you make. You're the only one who has the power over your own tongue so I choose not to abuse it.

  • The school with the Japanese girls is called Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute. Look it up, I'm not lying -.-;

And what the hell is that gibberish? Is that supposed to be Japanese? It looks like you chewed up a dictionary, spit it out, and typed up what it said as your "witty reply".

  • First of all you have no proof that she is lying. You just choose not to believe it. I go to school with hamukyaa and we take Japanese class together. We have for almost two years now and we're required to interact with the Japanese students there. We also make Japanese penpals online, such as Naoya, to improve our Japanese and learn more about the culture.

  • thats nice and all, but are you actually going to do something with your education, or are you going to go around youtube showing off that you are taking a japanese class.

i can choose what i want to believe.

and i find it oh so cute that she brought her friend to help back her up.

  • You just make false assumptions after assumptions just because it makes you feel better. I bet you, you wouldn't appreciate it if hamukyaa and I accused you of you liking to enjoy going around youtube and accusing other people of lying. Do onto others as you would do to them.

  • you's a bitch and yo mammy is too.

i can read some of that, and i find it rude.

so stop trying to look cool just because you found a translator.

  • Well spoken Austin. I rated your comment up :>

  • That's just INSANE!! @_@

  • I love how the little Pucchi plane comes after the MoMusu jet~~ XD

  • ahh i envy them for dancing in jeans!

    haha~ love this song

    so adorable :3

  • I Wuz this Song

  • I love the song, but the video could be better. ANd I thought that this is an all-girl band. I hear a man voice in background. THis song is phenominal!!!

  • The male voice is their producer, Tsunku. He's supposed to be the "mastermind" behind Morning Musume and Hello! Project, and he's provided background vocals for a LOT of their songs over the years.

  • Tsunku is a girl in disguise :3

  • I love this song!

  • Now I saw this one BEFORE I saw Love Machine, so to me it seemed that Love Machine had a Chokotto Love-esque opening.

But I do really like this song.

  • You notice that the beginning looked like LOVE Machine by Morning Musume?

  • Thats becuase it IS the same clip. Tsunku does this A LOT =/ Like with the recycled "The Peace!" Outfits used again in "Onna ni Sachi Are" and reused songs in CDs :)

  • I noticed something about those outfits!! I was like "Am I seeing things?" But thanks. I noticed that the 'texture' was kind of the same too.

  • Tsunku does NOT design and decide what to wear for each PV. The one who does this is the UFA, the company who decides what to wear, how to make a PV, and do all the budget. dont blame tsunku please.

  • the song is just so much fun! can't get it out of my head now.

  • OMG!!! so kawaii!! and fun 2 i love sayaka!!!!!

  • Yeah, Sayaka looks really pretty here. Usually she's not as attractive. Lol, my sister thinks Kei is ugly. I was like "OMG!! She is really pretty!!"

  • Aw, this song is fun and cute~. I love it.

  • some vintage:P

  • oh god this is old!!

  • xD Looks like the first appearance of Flare Jeans in popular culture.

  • And for the record, before I get hate comments for my opinion, I am a huge fan of Malice Mizer, Yo Reiri, Dir En Grey, Asian Kung Fu Generation and a few other Jpop artists.

  • That's J-rock, not J-pop. You don't know much about J-pop if your reaction to an idol group is "it's shoujo anime music".

  • um those are jrock. you lose.

  • I actually don't care :S

  • Okay, so you set yourself up as an authority but when someone calls your bluff, you cop out altogether. Nice.

  • japanese girl singers

    serious business

  • Lol, Broshmosh, idiotic much? This song never was an opening for shoujo anime. The only groups that provide anime openings are Buono, Tsukushima Kirari starring Kusumi Koharu, Kira Pika, Milky-Way and Berryz Koubo. That's six units out of at least 83 idol units in the Tsunku family. So, idol music, in fact, isn't mainly used in shoujo anime.

  • And not just H!P groups have songs for animes.....I think Japanese groups consider it good fortune to do a song for an anime.....kinda like getting a song on a movie soundtrack. Maria had a song used as the closing theme to the 3rd Naruto movie and gave them a higher profile than they would otherwise have.

  • Uh, those are J-ROCK groups.......and out of all of them in your list, I only really like Ajikan.......but different tastes are what makes the world go 'round, eh?

  • Oh gods, Shoujo anime music...

  • I've never seen this before! Great job by Maki, Kei and Sayaka! The video is cool too... Looks like it was done by the same guy who did Love Machine.

C-ute did a nice version of this at their recent concert.

  • I like W(Double You)'s version better even if this is their song.

  • uh look at your username, aren't you a bit biased

  • W's version is nice and I'm a VERY big W fan, but the original Pucchi Moni had that "something", that "Old Morning Musume feeling" I love.

  • Keehee! Its so cute it makes me laugh so much! XD
