what motor / prop are you using ? mine just let out a puff of smoke (ap-03)...

just ordered an ap-05 should be good @ 52 g auw.

Motor: C05 3700kv brushless outrunner

Prop: GWS EP5030 (kind of direct drive)

I tried a 0543 and it-s better but the motor gets warm and you cannot fly more than 2 min in a row, then have to let it cool a bit.

Its not really tail heavy, maybe a bit, but in fact I have to slow it down all the time because I don-t have enough space to fly it.
