You have a beautiful voice, but your performance lacks heart. When Faith sang it, when Kara sang it...You could hear it behind their voices...the heart, the emotion in their performances of the song was earth shattering. Like I said....Beautiful voice, but you need to work on emoting.

very good and you should audition for American Idol.But i always say the songwriters always sing it the best.Kara did sing it the best. I this always happens because the songwriters know what it is supposed to sound like cause THEY WROTE IT. Kara even did it better than Faith Hill. If you guys are like "whos Kara?" Look her up on youtube Kara Dioguardi. She has an amazing voice you should listen to her songs: Lost, I had it all, Terrified, Stranger And Angels,Taking chances, Walk away, and more!

Your voice has an excellent tone. Your pitch and vibrato are there too.  As someone else said, watch your timing and phrasing. On ballads like this it's cool to lay back the vocal a little behind the beat but you are doing it a little too much on this one in my opinion. I'm not trying to bash you I'm only trying offering you constructive criticism. I'm a former audio engineer. Keep up the excellent work!
