  • Open cockpit, no seatbelts...sketchy.

  • do you have to weld the chassis or is it all done for you? would love a go at building a kit car but my welding is rubbish lol

  • @MediumPoo

No you don't have to weld the chasis thogether. No welding unless you wish to make modifications. Check out the Factory Five Racing website to see how the kit is presented. I building a thier Roadster right now. Its a fun project. If you're a true car guy you'd love it.

  • Nice Shorts Bro.

  • ewwwwww slipknot turn it of

  • how is this any diff from a c5 vette with 500 hp?

  • @ThinkerMister11 It is about 1,000 lighter than a vette. Plus you get the satisfaction of building it yourself. And there are a lot fewer GTMs on the road.

  • @ThinkerMister11 oh about 933 pounds lighter and $15000 cheaper

  • nice work, have you had any problems with it so far?

  • 63K seems to be the avg. for parts and paint. then add 1500 hours to build and Keep in mind you need a place to build it. The frame is built like a battering ram but if you were able to T-bone it hard enough you'd have to start all over.

  • Man i am sooo jealous! How much do you figure it will cost when its all done? Any idea how strong the tubeframe is if you got T-Boned?

  • Its a 2004 LS1 tuned to ~420HP. [ Mated to a Porsche G50/20 6-Speed Trans-Axle ]

  • @Frohnation

Who did you get the transaxel from and how much did it cost?

  • what ls did you guys decide to go with? I couldn't tell from the vid.
