  • Your doing GREAT!!! AMEN.

  • cool set up m8 you have got to laugh its funny how every one on here knows best eh thats some tank you have well smart my local fish shop sells these now i am thinking of getting em to any tips or hints you can get me would be great thanks

  • @donnar307

Well the best tip/hint i can give you on doing anything pet/animal related is do research BEFORE buying anything...

A lot of people just go the store and buy the things they see and then 2 months later have to spend more money on the things they should have bought, Turtles are not as easy to keep as people think and they need a lot more things compared to other pets, Which means more money and more work.

  • good turtles. mine almost ate all my colourful guppies:(

  • Question: Did you ever separate your guppy fry? Or did all your guppys naturally survived I'm thinkning about breeding a lot.

  • @RazorWizkid

In a tank like this whith so many hiding places and such they just survive, I wouldn't reccomend "breeding" them though...

It will eventually overstock a tank and nobody is going to buy them from you...

  • @RazorWizkid I breed mine, and if you have enough hides, and the adults are fed regularly, they should be fine. Its okay if some are eaten, because you dont want too many. I have a beautiful male for sale, cheack him out in my videos. He is an amazing breeder :)

  • cool tank man

  • must be a bitch to clean that

  • this is incredible! how big is the sump for this??

  • @SuperRaymond08

No sump , There are 2 fluval fx5's hooked and they work good .. I have thought about a sump though

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN new to this, whats a sump? I have a 75 gallon tank with a Aqua-clear 110 and a 100 watt heater. i have two turtles with a nice sun bathing area. im worried the filter inst good enough.

    any advice?

  • @beEasy2011 are canister filters better. i was thinking of setting up one at each end.

  • @beEasy2011

If your water is clean and you dont have to clean the filter too often then you are good as you are,

But canisters (bigger ones) are much easier to work with usually, Less filter cleanings and would have more water flow...

If you decide to get a Fluval FX5 then you would only need one, They are very powerful filters and will clean 75 gallons easily.

  • Whats the top plant called that scuba was resting on?

  • @RazorWizkid

I think you are referring to the "elodea"

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN ok thanks

  • where'd you get the tank??

  • @SuperRaymond08

It was a custom build , you have to find a place to build one for you ..

  • big enough but looks messy..

  • You need more decorations in that tank and more places for them to get out of the water. Also, why is your water so dirty.

  • @STProductionFilms

If your one of these little punks who is just going to hate on my video's because i asked you why your water is dirty then just go before you start ..

There is plenty of space for them to bask all at the same time , The water is filtered by 2 fluval FX5 filters containing carbon , ammonia remover , sponges , bio balls etc. trust me the water is clear :)

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN FX5's are out of date. Actually all canisters are. Move up to a sump and canister at least.

People like you shouldn't be allowed to keep turtles, you don't even have places for them to hide and feel secure, nor a background.

  • @STProductionFilms

Oh right , right now i have a cave about 2ft x 2ft in my tank (is that good enough for a hiding spot?) then the basking area on top of that .. with mercury vapour bulbs (uv , heat) , the filters together filter over 4000 liters an hour with media in .. yes the whole tank gets filtered in under 15 minutes .. i do have a background actually .. this video is 2 years old .. spend time on your tank instead of complaining about mine ..

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN go and bitch the haters!!!!hells yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN nice back-up, fuck the haters!!!!:)

i'm getting guppies in few hours :):)

how many u recommend to put in my 25 gal tank?

  • @KevinIsM8ig

Well it depends on what you mean by "how many do you recommend" , If your getting males and females i would say get 4 of each , they will breed like crazy and overrun your tank if you get too many ..

If you are getting males only ( or females only) , then i would say 10 - 15 should be nice ..

If you have a turtle in that tank be careful ( some turtles wont stop till there is no fish left , other dont mind fish at all )

  • now that's how to care for turtles ;)

they should forbid selling those "palmtree islands" which aren't even one gallon.

  • This is the most amazing tank I've evr seen in all of my life. I would pay to come and see it.

  • great tank man.. that thing kicks ass.. i wish i had the room for that for my new turtle!!!

  • How come your turtles don't those live plants!? My turtles eat everything! Within a day!

  • @TikiTak321

The turtle do eat the plants , i dont mind them eating them though , its a very natural food and good for them

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN Yes but what surprises me is that you still have a lot left! I guess I need to buy a lot to start off because my turtles ate everything within a few hours.

  • How often do u clean that tank.

  • @skaterboy2502

Depends what you mean by clean the tank..

I do a 20% water change every week

Full water changes once or twice a year

cleaning the glass every couple of months and changing rocks around every few months

    pretty easy to maintain

  • nice tank!!

  • Wow. Very nice those guppies never seem to have a problem breeding. Great size tank. What filtration are you using. ?

  • @walsallcrew

Fluval fx5 canister / external filters

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN your tutles are fun and funny to watch i have a mini tutle in a fishtank advice?

  • @thecoolgerman1

If you have any questions on care or anything just send me a message , i will help you ..

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN thx i will

  • ahaha i got the same basking dock =]

  • very cool setup. Wish I had that much room in my apartment to do a real setup like that bu I am currently setting a turtle tank up and I was wondering what floating plant you use in your tank, is it real or fake?

  • @Don559

the plant that is floating in this tank is elodea , its not truely a floating plant but works great as one and grows good as one .. but its also a turtles fav plant to eat

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN thank you for the fast reply :) Im assuming i should be able to pick that up at any pet shop?

  • @Don559

yeah , elodea is a very common aquatic plant ..

ive never been in a pet shop that sells fish and doesnt have it .. its allso very cheap usually ..

  • wow great set up, ive got a 15 gallon with two baby musks,10+ neon tetras, five different types of corys, a small colony of cherry shrimp (30+), and a bristle nose plec,

the guy in the petshop thought i was mad, wanting to put fish in with my turtles but they get along fine,

do your turtles ever eat your fish?

  • @R00TEB0Y

sounds too me like your tank is full , if not overcrowded allready but as the fish and turtles are small species i guess it will be ok for now and a great choice of fish and turtles by the way ...

    .

but nope these turtles dont go after any fish now , i also have a musk aswell that doesnt tend to eat fish ..

i have 4 other turtles that will eat fish though so arent kept with any

  • cool song,

and AWESOME aquarium!!! thats what i want 1 day, how much did it all cost, if you dont mind me askin?

  • @Mamboleo1995 the cost depends on where you live , the hard part is finding somebody able to make the tank for you .. then there are a few ways you could set the tank up (different filters , substrates and heaters etc.)

but it would be approx .. 750$ - 3000 ( £500 - 2000) depending on the things you use on the tank

  • is that sand at bottom of tank

  • @thaydt64

yeah , best thing for a turtle tank in my opinion (especially if you have catfish)

  • hmmmm ok... ill get some next week=) Im gonna get frogs soon =D

  • oh.......... i think my female guppies are pregnant after all.... LOL =D is it ok if i can put 1 female mix with 10 other males?? is that wrong? TyTy

  • Thanks... anyways what does gravid mean??? can post me any guppie youtube vid? Thanks

  • @TheRES74

A gravid spot is a dark spot on the guppy , if your guppy gets pregnant you will see it ..

  • haha thanks so much =D when will i know when its time for my guppies to give birth? Males are colourful and Females are not ryte? correct it if im wrong =) TyTy Swwwwwweeeeeeeettttt TANK =D

  • @TheRES74

yeah , male guppies are usually colour through the whole body and females are usually not as coloured , also the females are bigger usually

    .

a guppy will usually get bigger and there will be a "gravid" spot on her when pregnant , and they usually have between 5- 30 babys every month .. lol

  • huhuh thanks .. i just bought guppies.. and they keep on staying on one side of the tank and staying up at thr surface of the water.. Whats wrong? TyTy

  • @TheRES74

its depends on how many guppies you have , if you have a little amount like 5 they will all stay together in a group most of the time and swimming at the top of the water can mean the water is dirty or not enough oxygen in the water or could just be that your guppies like the surface lol

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN

its better to put a few females with males , males can chase the female around and the female can get stressed and possibly die

  • what kinda filter do you use?? oh and what kinda sand is that? im thinking of putting it in my tank =) TyTy

  • @TheRES74

i use 2 fluval fx5 (external / canister filters) and the sand is regular play sand , just make sure if you get sand that you wash it very well or else you will get cloudy water ..

play sand is a lot cleaner than most other sands and its cheap

  • what kinda filter do you use??

  • hey how did u get the turtles not to eat the small fish?

  • Hey how do u get the turtle not to eat the small fish? I know u can put turtles in with big fish but why arn't they eating the small fish.

  • @000Idiote

i started of with getting about 10 guppies and then they bred until i had about 100 guppies ..

the guppy population in the tank gets huge and keep producing more ..

guppys are the best fish too get if your wanting to keep fish with turtles ..

but dont be upset because a guppy gets eaten , it happens

  • and wow that tank is way way way to over crowed please remove some fish and the turtles need more room to swim and all the crap u have in it is taking swiming room away from them

  • wow u need remove fish the tank with that turtle, fish both are goring to cause water probs,if u wanna keep any in time they will eat em and there basking area u have is a joke and sand isnt that good to use u will still get sand sucked up into ya pump even if u have intake raised up trust me u will i have raised turtles of for over25+ years best to use big grav or nothing at all ..but like i was saying that turtle needs to get all the way dry when basking and yours is still letting him stay wet

  • @wonderwondswoman

im going to explain these basicly because your obviously stupid ..

    1. i have a basking area for the turtles that they can get fully dry and bask under uv and heat

2.the sand is fine and have it in all my tanks with no problems

3.the turtles and fish are fine together

4.the tank isnt overcorwded , they are guppies and live in huge groups like this ..they got moved to other tanks a long time ago anyways .

    5. if you wanna talk message me thanks :)

  • nice have you ever had any problems with that sand i always here people rant about it but idk what to beileve now could you please respond

    thanks

  • @planbskata43

i use sand in 3 of my tanks and have had no problems , the only problem is when you first put the sand in the water and the water clouds up ..but the cloudiness will be gone after a day or 2 and will be back to normal

    ..

the only other problem that i can think may happen is that the sand gets in to the filter and breaks the motor , which wouldnt happen if you keep the filter intake a few inches from the sand ..

in my opinion sand is the best substrate

  • this is one of the best tanks i have ever seen. great job.

  • my birth day is july 9 osome

  • Same thing happened to me with the guppies

  • how much does it cost in total ?

  • @jk01197

    between 1k - 2k , i carnt give you an exact price

  • How many guppies did you start out with and don't your turtles eat them?

  • @aircrewsar

i started with ariund 50 guppies , and that turned to thousands in about a year

and its hard to tell if the turtle ate any because there were so many

  • I'm thinking you need a hood set up for your tank.

  • @soulassssns

    why would i need a hood ?

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN

Direct your lighting into the tank

  • @soulassssns

i have different lighting now , the lights in this video were only temporary until i could afford better ones

  • whats ur tank made of... acrylic??

  • can you pease tell the different species of fishies?

  • @sexy52637

the video is when i first got my tank i think and its got different fish in now but as far as i can remember there was ..

    guppies (hundreds)

    cory catfish (about 10)

    common pleco (2)

    neon tetra's (around 10)

    rainbow shark (1)

too be honest i think those were the best set of fish i had in this tank , i have bigger fish now and im allways worrying about them fighting :(

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN yeah cory catfish are teh best to keep with turtles tetras too because once they school its awesome to see them disburse once the turtles move about. Check out my tank I'll respond it to your video.

  • how much did you buy the filters for?

  • Nice looking set up buddy

  • where did you get that tank from and how much was it and could you tell me wat filters you have please. Thanks:)

  • @zeuswilleatyou12

the tank was custom made for me and the people that made it no longer make them .. i have 2 fluval fx5 filters , 1 water pump and 2 air pumps ..i think it would be cheaper to actually get a sump instead of 2 filters but it was easyer for me to get 2 filters even tho they cost more .. the tank its self is the cheapest part , the stuff you need to make the tank work ie ..filters ,air pumps , rocks , sand , and everything else is the expensive part

  • wat a beautiful tank i ever seen

  • sweet tank

  • I'm having a bit of an issue, I've got two ybs and a musk turtle and it looks like I'll be needing a new tank soon, what size would you say they could use for the rest of there lives? And the ybs are both male :)

  • that tank must be a bitch to clean up. :)

  • your turtles seem so happy. I guess the guppies produce an endless supply of food for the turtles. The only other food you buy for the turtles are the plants.

  • Very nice. I had a great time watching this video. Thanks for sharing : )

  • Did you have to rinse the sand before putting it in the tank? How long did it take? Wicked tank

  • @drkingslend

yeah , you have to rinse and sand you put in your tank even if its aquatic sand ..i put sand in a bucket and rinsed is under a tap for about 10 mins a bucket ..even after that it can make your water a bit cloudy for a couple days , but any couldiness will go away if you have a good filter

  • how long do turtles live. my cousin had 1 and it lived for 6 years.

  • @catzbunny - Thats not very good. Maybe not looked after it well. Turtles live up to 30 years in the wild & up to another 10 years in captivity. So 6 years is not old at all really. :-(

  • @catzbunny

6 years ? that terrible , i feel sorry for the turtle.. they can die that young if they dont get all the things they need

turtles can live over 30 years if they are kept propperly

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN well he bought it from someone who had it for a couple years. so idk how old it actually was. how old are your turtles?

  • how much was everything in there? im getting into fish. i bought 2 fintails. the Japanese fish. but i want some other things,

  • where did you get the sand bedding at ?

  • @RockinTeens

its just play sand , play sand is safe for fish tanks and doesnt have as much clay in to dirty the water , i think you can get it at any D.I.Y store

  • IF THEY GROW I WILL GET A BIGGER TANK THOUGH I WOULD PROBABLY GET A 75 GALLON TANK WHEN THIER JUVINILE SIZE 4-7 INCHES. THEN WHEN THEY GET TO MATURE SIZE I WOULD PROBABLY GET A PONG IN MY BACKYARD. THANK U 4 THE REPLY THOUGH 8-)

  • id have to say that this has to be one of t he best tanks i have seen so far awesome!

  • Nice tank ha fish think they getting fed when u put him back in!! How do u keep it clean and are u running a sump tank for summit that big?

  • dosent your turtle ever eat any of the fish?

  • @mrmarco229

not really , they used to eat the guppies years ago but then they stopped , and i dont have guppys with them any more , i have oscars , silver dollars , hoplo catfish and plecs ...and they dont try to eat them ...i havnt had any missing fish in a long time

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN - Turtles wont eat fish that are bigger than them I was told. I had decent sized gold fish & shubumpkins (cant spell it) in with my two turtles & that was fine while they were the size of 50 pence pieces, but once they started growing they were taking bites out of my fish so I had to get rid of the fish before the turtles got big enough to eat the fish altogther! Ive seen some nice tanks with both in though. I suppose not all turtles want to eat the others living with them!

  • i wish my turtles con be that big. mine are red eared sliders and only 2 inchesand live in a 10 gallon tank with 8 feeder fish . if u have any things that could help them grow like there diet. please tell me

  • @NIKESRAWESOME123

normally its the other way around , people want there turtles to be small lol but yeah the diet of your turtle will affect growth and other things , and why do you want a bigger turtle is you have a 10 gallon tank ..a 100 gallon tank isnt big enough for some turtles ..sliders grow to about 9inches for a male and to about 12 inches for a female ...if i was you i would start saving for a big tank :)

  • nice tank, I would be tempted to take a bath in there lol

  • Comment removed

  • @zach01313

why are you hating my video ? i know a lot more about turtles than you and the turtles have a basking spot with a mercury vapour bulb ! if you've even heard of that before , i spend a lot of time looking after all my animals and i know how to care for them , all my turtles are in a very healthy condition and i spend a lot of money on them to care the best i possibley can for them

  • thats amazing tank man....god what a size :O i just gave away my turtle cause i been not able to upgrade my tank :( shes been massive to compare with your turtles iam sure she would love your tank :D but with her apetite them fish would disappear in 2 days lol that would be shame :D iam jealous i want this tank :D perfect tank for them love it score 10 !!!

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN you should not have to press the mute button you cannot help but listen to it!! much better with fleetwood mack albatross!!

  • Do ur turtles eat guppies or tetras?

  • @DaGrunts

too be honest it was hard to tell because i literally had hundereds of fish , so the turtles probly did eat the fish but it wouldnt have been many

  • i don't think you could pick a worse song for this vid. nice tank tho!

  • AMAZING TANK impressive and yes that was a rainbow shark lol

  • @thedk90

yeah i had only just got the tank in this video (i think?) lol , this tank looks totally different now , check me new vid if you want

  • oh yea and how much did all da fish cost

  • @Ogunzoandbuletz

most of they are guppies and you can easy get guppies really cheap and they will have babys every month and can have about 30 babys at a time so its not hard to get so many

  • wouldnt the turtles eat your guppies???

  • @Ogunzoandbuletz

most of the time most turtles will chase and eat fish but mine got used to having fish arround in the tank so they stopped eating them

  • that is such a hektic tank, u should really get another turtle dock and a proper bar uv light. that will be soo hektic man.

  • @tom3999

yeah my tanks a lot better now , check my newer video's

  • wat are u using as a stand

    and is it costum made?

  • @urwack123

in this video i had 2 strong table holding the tank , if you check my new video you can see my custom made stand ..much better

  • Sweet tank, Music's shite though.

  • power!!!

  • Whats the song!!! nice hardstyle luv it

  • @jetmea

    the song is

    basshunter - walk on water

  • what type of turtles are they and how much did u pay for that tank??????????

  • @BLACKjackV1

the turtles are yellow bellies and peninsula cooters

  • buy an oscar or snakehead for your tank...then make a video on what happens

  • @nick887887887

i have 2 oscars in this tank , and if you ment they would eat the guppies ..im not stupid i moved the guppies to a different tank before oscars were big enough to eat them ...and i have a vid with the oscars in if you wanna check it out

  • i love your show and i have a turtle named rocky aswell!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have a turtle called rocky tooo!!!

  • This is an amazing tank, very impressive fish colonies you have. my sliders are too vicious to be kept with fish. hahaha

  • how do you clean this??

  • @lkormel

well the filters keep it clean and i dont really need to clean the tank much , but sometimes i will do a full water change and empty the whole tank with a python syphon hose , and then clean the glass and fill it back up ..

probly easyer than it looks lol

  • nice shit dude, i aspire to have a similar setup soon

  • Get a background. I hate seeing plain wall on tanks

  • @feenin4u247

yeah i have got a background now (just a blue one but it looks better )

this is an old video ..i dont think any of my vids have my new background actually

  • nice turtle...i would really consider getting some sort of turtle if i had more space but right now i need all i have for fish

  • hellugh fry in there:) will guppies mate in a 1 gallon tank, because my 20 gallon is crowded right noww.

  • i think guppies will mate in a 1 gallon but a 1 gallon is way to small to keep guppies in ...if you are wanting to mate them then i suggest you get a bigger tank ..like a 10 gallon at least

  • so jealous

  • sick tank.... Check mine out.

  • Nice tank mate ive just ordered a new tank for my turtles 5.5ft x18inches high x 2ft wide(427litre) but i went for acrylic im just trying to work out whether urs is acrylic or glass? i live in swindon and the f5x's filters cost so much lol

  • Can you tell me the 1st song name? Thanks

  • basshunter - walk on water

  • wat kind of filter are you using and where did u get your tank?

  • i use 2 fluval fx5 canister filters .. and i live in the uk so the makers wont be any use to you lol

  • How come the turtles don't eat the fish?

  • AMAZING ! i thinkits a red tailed shark though and how do you clean it ! :O

  • no its a rainbow shark ..and i have 2 fluval fx5's and it rarelly needs cleaning

  • i love this video its my favorite on youtube

  • This is my favourite video on youtube.

  • my tank looks horrible in thos tank :(

  • I would attach your electrical equipment to the wall...Good music

  • your tank is wayyy big compared to mine

haha i wish i could have a huge tank like that but my room is too small :(

It's so cool that your turtles don't eat your fish...my turtle Patrick tries to eat anything that moves besides my baby turtle Pete

  • its gr8 to see that ur turtles aint gonna eat ya fish and are dey flemengo guppies you have

  • AMAZING>>>>>>>>>>>>XD

  • ever thought about getting a tire track eel? he'll be those guppies best friend!

    nice tank .

  • yeah i though about a tire track eel but they grow to big and mite not get on with the cory cat fish lol

  • ey man you should make a new vid, see how the tanks doing, how do you keep it so clean, whats your filtration..? Also how do you empty it?

  • i have made a new vid ( i will send it in a message cos it wont let me do links here ) and i have a fluval fx5 filter that keeps my tank clean ,i have to go round the tank sometimes to get algea off it but not often ....and if you meen how do i empty the tank ,,i just use a syphon/hose just let to water to out to my yard ,but if you have a fx5 then you wont need to change your tank ...just maybe do some water changes sometimes and thatll do

  • wheres the basking area?

  • its at the right side of the tank ...this vid is 4 months old tho .....check out a new vid to see the better basking spots

  • Nice tank though :D
