To be honest, the difference between PSP 2000 and PSP 3000 is the microphone, which has bumped up the price quite intensely. I have Skype on my PSP 2000 and i use headphones but with a psp 3000, you dont need headphones. PSP 2000 is £90, while PSP 3000 is £130 so you are paying £40 for inbuilt headphones. SO DON'T BUY 3000!

you can hack psp 3000, using chickhen and the loader, but that only is loaded in the RAM and it isn't permanent. It can't be permanent because the 3000 can't recognize the Pre-IPL of cfw yet, and with dark-alex gone, i wouldn't count on it to happen anytime soon.
