to everybody talking about the front of the charger looking like the evo, that is completely optional when buying the car there are other srt8's that have the standard charger grill painted to match the rest of the car. i just hate that because of its weight the car is pushing 470 hp.... a 6.4 engine is atleast 550 if the car was lighter it be matched with chevys ZL1 another sexy 2012 muscle car...auto tranny doesnt help much though

Dear Dodge, This car is far more appealing than the previous design. The rear plate is well executed, and the sculpting along the side is smart and distinctive, the roof line is also far more attractive. I am less enamored with that gaping grill, the all black is right, but its too large. I would prefer the Charger as a 2-door, but your right, market and production realities simply can't support it, and I don't think there will be a shortage of buyers. Overall this is an impressive redesign.

If you made the front grille of the 2012 Charger SRT-8 look like the 1969 Charger's front grille and not like the EVO-X's front grille then I might actually buy one. Iam a classic muscle car guy so i hold a huge prestigious against modern muscle cars ie "muscle cars" post 1973. I thought older models of the charger where a Chrysler 300 with some new body panels that people who could not handle a real car would drive,and it always bunged me that it was a four door.But this new model is just drop dead gorgeous,just get rid of the cooperate grill and it will look perfect.
