That first buck is a hybrid I don't care what anyone says look how he chases the doe's just like a whitetail he doesn't jump for every step, also that rack every point is coming off the main beam, full mulie fork up and don't curve in as much,
anyone who decides that a deer is a hybrid based on their antlers is sadly mistaken. The antlers cannot be used as deer commonly have horns that resemble the other species. the best way to tell for sure is by the glands on their hind legs. It is common for people to miss diagnose a deer as a hybrid. Most are false for sure.
He/she's beautiful. We have a Dane and all the "Giant breeds" are awesome companions. Ours likes watching deer as well, taught him not to chase....except squirrels he he...
yah.i was up there and i saw this mulie that would easily score over 220.and true there r nice whitetails. not as many thow.just got to go to the right spot.thats what its about.
thats the only reason i love canada. that ans skiing. and fishing. that first buck looked like it has whitetail antlers on a mule deer body. good footage bud.
