The camera has a fixed focus. So anything is in focus from about 3 ft on back. Check out the Kodak Zi8 it is fixed focused as well but has a switch that allows for macro focus. It pretty cool and has an SD card slot up to 32GB.

Sometimes, it takes a few hours for youtube to process the HD.

Are you uploading it right from the FlipShare software? If you are, that's your problem. You have to EXPORT it first. THEN upload it!

do not upload your videos through flipshare. copy them from your flip HD and upload to you tube manually.
