a lot of people in my class couldn't do it too but after some time if they keep stretching they can :D when I was little, I couldn't do a perfect split and it hurt sooo much, then I stopped and started again more seriously and I don't know why suddenly I can just do it and it didn't hurt, so lucky! really I think it just takes time :D maybe if you give it a year or 2 you might be great at it!^^
