I was more of the lines talking about coding.. I really don't need to learn that crap if I'm given the right programs. I understand the art to level designing it terms of where this and that should be and how much light.
@VulcanXL I can already tell you that attitude is not useful if you want to 'make games and shit'. Coding is not just 'that crap' it's an incredibly important part of a videogames structure. As I'm sure you're aware, without coding there is no need for level design or 3D/2D assets. The passion and attitude you show towards the love of playing a certain game or games in general does not always translate well into the attitude required to be a developer. Knowing about all corners of dev is useful.
I really want to make games and shit..But I don't want to learn that basic shit...it's boring and unnecessary. I learn by trial and error... Give me all the programs and I bet within 10 hours, I'll start making something without prior experience.
