In the new film established a parallel line to avoid compatible. It is obvious that there will never be one better than Captain Kirk, William Shatner nor a better Spock, Leonard Nimoy. The old characters are unforgettable and unrepeatable actors, unique. They have always had great charisma and good chemistry that have been able to pass on to generations. I would have liked to see William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy with in this new movie, together again.

I've seen all of Star Trek TOS, and I loved the new movie. I thought everyone portrayed their characters perfectly to their personality (without the terrible 1960's acting ;D)

this episode is from 1 season called emeny within , and no lines was changed , kirk was split into 2 one kind and gentle the other violent and when the violent side heard the good captain speak he responded i am captain kirk

Having seen the ST XI and having time to reflect on it, I can say the film fails because it constantly tries to be an imitation of much greater original works yet their original stuff is not really all that good.

In many ways this film tries TOO much to pander to the fans.

Still quite a good film but I'd rather they stuck with TNG than tried a reboot/remake. But they kinda screwed up TNG from the start.

Picard is the man though.

I heard a rumour from a friend about a new JJ Abrams youtube only project.

My friend is working at the Moving Picture Company (MPC) in Soho, London, he told me that he has recently finished painting out people and vehicles on some footage of London and that it was for a secret JJ Abrams project.Has anyone heard about this. It's presented as a real documentary and JJ seems to be using a fake name to keep the project feeling real.Does anyone know about this?
