That was a bad ice storm. In 2006 metro east st. louis area got hit pretty hard. It makes you wonder if a trend is starting with these ice storms.

My wife and I watched this storm from our living room. We had the windows open and not a minute went by that you didn't hear a power line pop or a tree limb fall.  Glad I didn't have to drive.
