This makes me miss my college days back in the mid 70's when we experimented a few times. It wasn't just recreational. We were art students serious about perceiving the world differently. I'm probably too old now, because I remember it taking a heavy physical toll afterward -- a kind of nervous exhaustion. The documentary doesn't cover that aspect. Still, it's intriguing. I hope the research will be allowed to continue.
So basically LSD and other hallucinogenics aren't dangerous they just have to be taken properly. I have personally taken peyote before but not LSD and i find it interesting for the mind. It helps you see through all the bullshit and actually look at life for what it is and all the beauty in it.
THE GREYS ARE WATCHING US! JUDGEMENT DAY IS NEAR! ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCE THE SYNCHRONICITY OF THE BODY, MIND, AND SOUL WILL BE ALOUD TO TRANSITION INTO A HIGHER BEING OF SUB CONSCIOUS EXISTENCE. "IMMORTALITY" LONG LIVE THE GREYS!
Very good video about LSD. I've taken it over 12 times in my life. From the beginning, I knew it would profoundly change me, and it did, for better or worse. Experiencing life on acid IS the free-form five dimensional world we live in, and in a good trip: all is one, and one is all. On the other hand, in a bad trip: I could not stop looking out the windows of my house. I looked across the valley and could see windows on other houses, heard loud drums and vibrations, that would not stop. BAD!
othe thing stupid though, why shes taking it in some f* room, not in the open terrain,a far beyond this rotten civilization,so she could feel as a part of our nature and world.dumb cunts
Not the drugs are bad, it's bad what some humans do with it. Take responsibility for what you do, don't bother other people (who doesn't want it). and be aware of what compounds you use.Mushrooms are banned (in the most countries).Cannabis is a bad plant (but drinking is social at weekend in discos),Dmt - is on the list higher than lsd (indians use it since 1000 and more years),----> it all comes down of how you use it and what you do with!!! be aware of what you do or take.
Legalize drugs. Remove all the violence involved and free up money used to fight the criminals that will disappear. Winning! Not to mention someone could produce some clean good stuff.
Describing cannabis as hallucinogenic not correct. It is a very mild psychadelic but not hallucinogenic, it does have some very very mild hallucinogenic properties, but saying "Cannabis is hallucinogenic" is very incorrect and is pure exaggeration.
@dynoahmite It depends on how you use it, to me, cannabis is very psychedelic, almost like acid, but without visuals. But then I don't smoke cannabis regularly, but when I do it's very deep man =)
@StonerBuddy14 I personally haven't experienced it that way yet, but when consumed in huge amounts it is said to have pyschedic properties. So grow some, bake a nice cake and find out for yourself sais this observer
@SCREAMFORRELEASE you clearly are not well educated because it is a psychedelic. just cause you don't hallucinate doesn't mean its non psychedelic. a psychedelic is something that causes a change in perception and weed definitely does that.
@SCREAMFORRELEASE I have to agree with intergalactic, sort of, I believe everyone experiences cannabis in a very slightly unique way, and for some people, not the majority, but some, it can have psychedelic properties
out of 12 ppl that they gave lsd to 10 people died wtf!! i think they spiked it fuck that and notice how they cut off the part when they where gunna say how annie died
@HOVA4RMASH Annie died of her ovarian cancer; in fact everybody in that study had terminal cancer, so that 2 ended up surviving is pretty good in itself. The drug (which was Psilocybin in this case, not LSD though their effects are similar) wasn't to affect the cancer, but to affect the patient's state of mind to overcome their anxiety about dying... although perhaps, those 2 that survived had their anxiety removed and had a renewed determination to survive, and the immune system boost helped.
@iamabgarcia I agree as well. I think a bad trip comes from emotions or issues that you have not been dealing with properly. The one bad trip I have ever had revealed to me that I had lots of issues I needed to talk to my girlfriend about. There was a lot of insecurity and distrust that I was bottling up. LSD made me realize it.
i've used LSD once so far and it was at the annual Rainbow Gathering and it was a small to medium dose according to the guy who gave it to me, and for the next 12 to14 hours i lived in a universe of absolute love and unity and i could feel the connection of the universe inside me...then i took shrooms for the first time...that experience is too hard to explain lol

really honestly who is the government to tell us what to do....we outnumber the authorites 20 to 1 we the citizens run this shit idk why we havent exercised our power....WE THE PEOPLE!!!
lsd allowed me to pass through gates that i never knew existed in a mind and since i passed through those gates i keep them unlocked and open which allows massive amounts of creative thought and philosophy to travel in.some call it insanity i call it a key to the mind
There is a new movie out called Limitless where the guy takes this drug that turns him into a perfect version of himself. The end of this documentary (4:13) sounds a lot like the concept in that movie. It's like it was meant to be a knock off of lsd or maybe some improved version of lsd that comes out and creates a whole revolution again! that'd be sweet...
@KarnivorousKreecher Thats because the government is only in profit freedom has just been changed of its meaning now all the government sees it is as a freedom to profit and if they cant profit then it is not relevant to them.
Everytime I've done it, makes me feel so attached and connected with the world, there's nothing else like it.It really alters your perception of things, that's no lie.
I think it should be mandatory to experience, atleast once, in a safe, happy enviroment of course. That stuff could end wars, inspire the apathetic.
2c-e and 2c-i suck balls dont ever do that shit its not a good trip at all and all the visuals are cheap they look real synthetic horrible trip i dont reccomend it
I've tripped mushrooms once and it was amazing, very spiritual, it made me connect with some higher power that I dont fully understand. Im about to try LSD in a few days but Im kind of nervous because Ive never done it before, any advice on how to avoid a bad trip?
@guy3911 Dont do it around people you dont really know or your not comfortable around, Preverably take it with a small group of people and try not to think about what the trips going to be like and you should be fine :)
I love LSD, I don't do it often, for me it's an occasion drug, and it's true it does help you get over addictions, it's an all around good drug if used properly.
@blazindank55 And you sir are ignorant... why are you watching a documentary telling the benefits of LSD if you think its gay. Your name is blazindank55 and as much as I care you can stick to your dank because we have enough of you idiots taking hallucinogens to be fuckheads anyways... we dont want anymore.
@blitzkiddestroy that's true :) i don't do it often either, but everytime i did it made me forget about a lot of my addictions for days after lsd's effects. you don't have to be afraid of lsd but you'll have to be carefull
Always talking about the medical use. Of course that has to be researched and taken into account but sometimes it seems people are losing track of something else that's quite important to a person and it's called LIVING. If something has the potential to give you one of the most astounding and beautiful moments of your life, then that alone gives it more than enough reason to be researched / used by people. ("Researched" so it will become more clear when it is or isn't safe to use).
Lsd is shit only gave me the fears ,tried it once.Psilocybin on the other hand, was a very postive experience for me, and it made me see my self in a different light. And it made me stop smoking hash every day, and made me stop being so fucking negative towards life. I was a heavy user of hash for 15 years.I know hash is not the worst drug out there but it is a total waste of time if abused. For the record i still smoke hash, but havent used it on a daily basis since my psilocybin trip 4 years ago
@megaluisdeth that's what i said, until eventually i became curious enough to overcome the silly fears i had. research it and prepare! do it in a comfortable setting and everything will go smoothly.
if used properly, the experience will be wonderful. every person i've told this to who's gone on to try LSD shares my sentiments.
@Deathamphetafiend I'm pretty sure he was joking. He's merely suggesting you'd have to be out of your mind to come up with a lot of the ideas that are in religious texts and behaviors exhibited by religious people. It's a joke people.
from what i just watched lsd seems amazing i want it lol but realy i think of it as a opener to the real you not only that but you can see life and people in a whole new way ok there are some cons like taking way to much but when used in small controlable dosesages i see its perfectly fine to use
@jtadaow This video series doesn't suggest that at all. The only time it might be fine to use is if it was made purely by professionals and administered in a "safe" dosage. It would also have to be in a controlled setting that fostered you feel safe and secure. You'd also have to know there was no preconditions in your family for schizophrenia. How you could of gleaned that information from the video is beyond me.
Im sorry.. I am just amazed at how I knew all this stuff before I seen this doc, and Ive been trying to tell people for years and they say.. , your just on acid.. but I know its not as simple as I took a drug and now the chemical makes my brain goofy... everything thing Ive found out was already inside me.. I just opend my eyes too it.. Im so glad that scientist are investigating this phenomena with open minds and even coming to conclusions of spirituallity, I think theyll find out much more ;)
@BHOgr1989 I know what you mean, everything i have learned from my experiences were things that were already there. We all actually know sooo much more then the common function of the brain allows, its amazing.
ok this is what gets me... Ive been doing acid since I was 14, I used to do it everyday after and during school for years... and the insights and conclusions Ive come too are amazing... even before seeing any documentary I knew lsd was important for us to understand psychology better and pretty much everything this documentary has told me I already knew... now I have a hunch that there is a part of our minds that is connected to another part of this universe that we are not physically a part of
@BHOgr1989 and I think LSD acts on parts of the brain that are used as tools to help us filter between the two different realities... now this theory I have is partly supported by STRING THEORY (which anyone that thinks Im on to sumthing should look up) a scientific theory that supports the existance of alternate dimensions sharing the same space but being different places based on the way their energy travels... and this theory I have is also supported by spirituality and religion... so maybe
@BHOgr1989 with the help of this insight science spirituality and religion all support each other.. and now I am gunnu wrap this up by saying... YOUR MIND IS MORE POWERFULL THAN YOU WILL EVER BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND!!!!!! AND THERE IS A REASON FOR REALITY! THIS UNIVERSE GOES FAR BEYOND WHAT WE CAN SEE OR IMAGINE!... and maybe this proves a creator.. I dont know. I hope sum smart science guy reads this and finds a way to prove me right
I really enjoyed watching all five of these. I'm mystified as to why Mescaline has been conspicuously absent in the series. After all, it is the most readily available psychedelic, found in plain old window cactus.
It seems strange to me that LSD, so miniscule and easily transported to wherever it is needed, is so much more popular, yet illegal. And Mescaline, so BULKY in cactus is less popular and yet legal?
Measuring the spiritual effects of LSD or Mushrooms is like trying to measure absolute zero: the testing equipment effects the results. What kind of trip are you going to have in a lab with a cap full of sensors and wires on your head? NOT A VERY PLEASANT ONE
want to play snake well now you can just pause at 0:00 and hold on the arrow key left ,hold left down for a second or two and then wile still holding it down press up have fun playing till ur hearts content with this old classic game
I would also like to add that while LSD can bring on life changing events, it is not for everyone. There are well documented cases, as described in the documentary, of individuals with latent psychotic tendencies to be "pushed over the edge". A very good friend of mine took LSD with me and other friends and he has since been in a delusional state. We take the risk of side effects every time we ingest something into our bodies, whether it be drugs or food.
Even though I am a recovering alcoholic and addict, I do not regret any of my drug experiences. I have tripped on LSD 12 times and have taken peyote and psylocibe mushrooms even more times. These spiritual/mental voyages gave me insight into myself, helped me understand my place in the world, and where my life was going. It's great that psychodelics are again being researched for better understanding of the mind and possible medical uses. Thank you Albert Hoffman.
i have loved this doco... ive been watchign it all morning, the only let down is taht this video is almsot exactly the same as the first one... not only that... theres parts that skip, probably from premature end taping before and after the ads... but otherwise. terrific job my friend =) its already made my day ^.^
@DJTryptout i trying to say that i dont wanna get tired of thinking to much of stupid stuff like job, money etc..Just love to chill on the sun shine with some music in background looking on girls, be with my girl... i dont need that money fast car or something like that. Just leave me alone, i will smoke 1,2,3 and enjoy like i have a 354 000 000 $ in bank. :)
clynics have the least knowledge on this from taking faaaar too many percautions. the best way to learn from it is having a session with someone whos done it and understands it or completely on ur own. then you have to expirment dont just sit there expecting shit to happen. dont be afraid to have a weiiiird uncomfortable trip as even the fucked up ones will benefit you just asmuch as the beautiful salvation trips. doctors do it like fireworks with parents just play with it and dont be too carful
i am very proud that scientists have been given permission and approval to synthesize lysergic acid diethylamide for further study against cluster head aches and given people faith in life which whom have cancer before they sadly pass away. I truly think its amazing LSD its such an ego boaster to life in which everyone should experience especially at the woods of nature or the electrifying music and environment of pyschedelic pystrance :) well everyone safe trippin
why not just legalize it and tax the hell out of it..more money for the government, more freedom for the people. Everyone is using drugs anyway, nothing except maybe the extinction of the human race can stop us from using drugs all the fucking time, even if it menas a life in prison or even death penalty (in some countries)
Since it is a research chemical and still new to humans (on the grand scale of drugs) we don't know for sure all of the long-term side-effects. It's very closely related to mescaline (intentionally by Shulgin).
As long as you regard it responsibly (set, setting, proper dose) I assume that you won't experience any negative effects.
Nowhere near as beautiful as LSD. Also, it can be fatal in high doses, and still can be seized and you could be arrested as it is a "potential analogue" under the Federal Analogue Act.
@Hydro509 That sounds like total shit... I know what you mean because ive had a bad trip on shrooms involving thought loops. Who would want to do that to themselves I would probably kill myself if i had that permanently...
@liam92017 I tripped on 2C-E, but never on acid. I seriously doubt it's legal. Anyway, it's too geometric, nothing too spontaneous, although it can be lifechanging. First time I snorted three times the normal dose...didn't even know if I fuckin' existed :)). Be careful with psychedelics, always have the right mindset and setting.
If it is legalized, i think that there should be LSD clinics, where the users must stay in the clinic for 14 hours after taking the drug. The clinic would be out in the forest.
@KrustynailsVideo That is how I believe all drugs should be legalized and made available. If we had heroine, coke, meth available for the junkies in a safe environment, we'd know who they were and they'd get a safe, dosed fix yet also be made more accessible for awareness programs and offers for rehabilitation. It would also get money out of the hands of criminals.
For psychedelics, we'd be able to administer them in comfortable environments with therapists and benzos to ensure safe trips.
@papatronix how the fuck do you know what I drink, Im not saying I would never do lsd because I think it is bad, I dont want to do it because I probly would have a bad trip and ruin my life
The doomsayers need to look at LSD more skeptically. While I do have a bias (I've used it once before), I think LSD and psychedelics in general need to be explored. LSD is beautiful. My sense of touch was significantly spiked. I rode music. I tasted my environment. I traveled to a "universe of beauty". The peak was when I rode my bed through time and space.
I think anyone who is mature, psychologically ready, safe, and relaxed should take LSD.
Its sad the government makes some drugs illegal when they don't know a thing about them

The end of this documentary (4:13) sounds a lot like the concept in that movie. It's like it was meant to be a knock off of lsd or maybe some improved version of lsd that comes out and creates a whole revolution again! that'd be sweet...

Polaf3456 9 months ago
@blitzkiddestroy that's true :) i don't do it often either, but everytime i did it made me forget about a lot of my addictions for days after lsd's effects. you don't have to be afraid of lsd but you'll have to be carefull
elPedroGuerreiro 9 months ago

It's a joke people.

from what i just watched lsd seems amazing i want it lol but realy i think of it as a opener to the real you not only that but you can see life and people in a whole new way ok there are some cons like taking way to much but when used in small controlable dosesages i see its perfectly fine to use
jtadaow 1 year ago
@jtadaow This video series doesn't suggest that at all. The only time it might be fine to use is if it was made purely by professionals and administered in a "safe" dosage. It would also have to be in a controlled setting that fostered you feel safe and secure. You'd also have to know there was no preconditions in your family for schizophrenia. How you could of gleaned that information from the video is beyond me.
LocustFurii 1 year ago
Im so glad that scientist are investigating this phenomena with open minds and even coming to conclusions of spirituallity, I think theyll find out much more ;)
BHOgr1989 1 year ago
@BHOgr1989 I know what you mean, everything i have learned from my experiences were things that were already there. We all actually know sooo much more then the common function of the brain allows, its amazing.
lil0flud 1 year ago
ok this is what gets me... Ive been doing acid since I was 14, I used to do it everyday after and during school for years... and the insights and conclusions Ive come too are amazing... even before seeing any documentary I knew lsd was important for us to understand psychology better and pretty much everything this documentary has told me I already knew... now I have a hunch that there is a part of our minds that is connected to another part of this universe that we are not physically a part of
BHOgr1989 1 year ago
@BHOgr1989 and I think LSD acts on parts of the brain that are used as tools to help us filter between the two different realities... now this theory I have is partly supported by STRING THEORY (which anyone that thinks Im on to sumthing should look up) a scientific theory that supports the existance of alternate dimensions sharing the same space but being different places based on the way their energy travels... and this theory I have is also supported by spirituality and religion... so maybe
BHOgr1989 1 year ago
@BHOgr1989 with the help of this insight science spirituality and religion all support each other.. and now I am gunnu wrap this up by saying... YOUR MIND IS MORE POWERFULL THAN YOU WILL EVER BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND!!!!!! AND THERE IS A REASON FOR REALITY! THIS UNIVERSE GOES FAR BEYOND WHAT WE CAN SEE OR IMAGINE!... and maybe this proves a creator.. I dont know. I hope sum smart science guy reads this and finds a way to prove me right
BHOgr1989 1 year ago
Thanks again IG
I really enjoyed watching all five of these. I'm mystified as to why Mescaline has been conspicuously absent in the series. After all, it is the most readily available psychedelic, found in plain old window cactus.
It seems strange to me that LSD, so miniscule and easily transported to wherever it is needed, is so much more popular, yet illegal. And Mescaline, so BULKY in cactus is less popular and yet legal?
Funny old world we live in eh?
Any views welcome :)

Measuring the spiritual effects of LSD or Mushrooms is like trying to measure absolute zero: the testing equipment effects the results. What kind of trip are you going to have in a lab with a cap full of sensors and wires on your head? NOT A VERY PLEASANT ONE

Great documentary!
Thank you Albert Hoffman.

clynics have the least knowledge on this from taking faaaar too many percautions. the best way to learn from it is having a session with someone whos done it and understands it or completely on ur own. then you have to expirment dont just sit there expecting shit to happen. dont be afraid to have a weiiiird uncomfortable trip as even the fucked up ones will benefit you just asmuch as the beautiful salvation trips. doctors do it like fireworks with parents just play with it and dont be too carful

why not just legalize it and tax the hell out of it..more money for the government, more freedom for the people. Everyone is using drugs anyway, nothing except maybe the extinction of the human race can stop us from using drugs all the fucking time, even if it menas a life in prison or even death penalty (in some countries)

Anyone who likes trippin should try 2C-E. Its powerful and legal you just gotta know where to find it.
liam92017 1 year ago 18
@liam92017 Can anyone confirm that 2C-E doesn't have any negative side-effects?
ross817 1 year ago
@ross817

TheLonesomeRaven 9 months ago
If it is legalized, i think that there should be LSD clinics, where the users must stay in the clinic for 14 hours after taking the drug. The clinic would be out in the forest.
KrustynailsVideo 1 year ago
@KrustynailsVideo That is how I believe all drugs should be legalized and made available. If we had heroine, coke, meth available for the junkies in a safe environment, we'd know who they were and they'd get a safe, dosed fix yet also be made more accessible for awareness programs and offers for rehabilitation. It would also get money out of the hands of criminals.
For psychedelics, we'd be able to administer them in comfortable environments with therapists and benzos to ensure safe trips.
