About the five buttons to control car. I rarely use ebrake, that just slows you down. This game does have FFB for wheels and rumble for pads which you had no mention of. Not the best, but not worst either on that area. And support for clutch and H-Shifter (G25 at least).
The effects you see on car tires are some of the Trunk items the game has but these are not necessary to use in the game. In Sim Vs I race in rooms without them, so don't let the vision of them scare you away from this game.

I have played for nearly 2 years and never seen a hacker in Sim Vs that should tell you something. I know there has been few (<10 of I'm aware) cases here and there but they have been dealt very quickly, in general you can say there's no hacking in this game.
On positive side, you liked the game and that's what matters in the end. This game is at least worth a try, just make sure you download latest client (Aeria link on the downloads page, mirrors are outdated atm) that save you from some unneeded updating / problems.
The things that you're bringing up are minor details. The review is meant for people who HAVN'T played the game and want a quick run through what the game is like.

Oh and another thing. People who don't play PT don't know that they're bobtails or bobcats. They look like Forklifts. So that's what we call them to avoid confusion.

Best way to race is the CTF-mode. its fun, no stress, good game play and we (Smokey and the Bandits Crew) kick ass! :D

I see you play Club Penguin? Is that the only good game in the world? I think you'll fidn there's plenty of amazing games out there. If you like old games take a look at X-COM UFO Defense. If you liek Racign check out GRID. If you liek FPS look at Wolfenstein or wait for Mondern Warfare 2. If you like RTS take a look at Empires: Total War.

First, the vehicles on the beginning of the video are Bobtails / Bobcats, Forklift is another of the Fun vehicles asides
Golf cart.
"Starting off with the obivious Arcade races."
I want to ask one thing, did you even try Simulation VS? This is where the real racing in the game happens, and for
long time was the only physics in the game, Arcade was added later on. The Sim Vs physics aren't as realistic as in
sims like LFS or rFactor, but they beat the likes of NFS easily.
