BOZ is the man!!! Hes like a player out of a video game with that speed my goodness! ah fuckers he had shoulder injuries...thats why he always had trouble wrapping up on his tackles. If doctors gave him HGH instead of ROIDS he could have made some pro bowls
You guys are blaming the media for ruining his rep butthole as a seahawk fan I can't tell you he ruined it himself. He was smarter than people think though. He built himself up and it landed him a huge paycheck. At the end of the day he got paid way more than he was worth. Seattle was the bust. He got paid.
Navdan 87 - Mile High was home to the minor-league Denver Zephyrs of the AAA American Association. They were one of the few minor-league baseball teams to share a stadium with an NFL franchise. In 1987 the Zephyrs began a ten-year affiliation with the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1993 they moved to New orleans to make way for the Rockies and the debut of MLB in Denver.
Fuck if i know what he did in the NFL. When i was 12 i saw Stone Cold and that shit was pretty cool. As far as his career as a professional football player why not mention Jamarcus Russel in the same sentence?.
no hate'n here just didn't care 4 him that much but yes he had the potential & agree with injuries...im a broncos fan of 25yrs now & i honestly do miss this rivalry & the old uni's. Go Broncos! oh yeah u've done a good job on these vids...i just been look'n 4 old vids from the late 80's & came cross these
Brian Bosworth WAS a bust. He was on steroids at Oklahoma, was forced off of them when he came into the NFL, and was thus exposed. Out of the league within a few seasons.
He talked all that crap to Elway, yet its John with the championships and the respect, while Brian Bosworth is basically a punchline. Yet another wasted draft pick in the pathetic history of the Seattle Stinkhawks.
Bosworth had size, speed, strength, & smarts. He showed excellent feet & a great burst. He could canvas the field, take good angles, was hard to cut off on outside plays & could cover. He could stuff the one-on-one block & was a punishing tackler. But he tended to overrate his strength & tried to overrun everyone. Blockers were considerably bigger in the NFL than they were at Kansas State. Is that what happened to his left shoulder? Maybe he should have been an outside LB, not inside.
Even as a Raider fan I give him credit. He was no bust, he just got hurt. I will say that I am sure that steroids added to his career being cut short.
God damn Boz was an awesome LB. I've heard for 10 years how he was a bust. Crushing the fullback who was trying to block, beating Guards head up, throwing around QBs forcing fumbles. I have yet to find video of the guy ever missing a freaking tackle! The Bo Jackson run he still made the tackle and Bo had momentum.
How stupid can people be? The film speaks for itself. Humans and politics. Lemmings.
People make such a big deal about what a joke this guy was. He's not a joke. lol. The joke is that people love to hate him. The guy had some real talent. That Bo running over him BS is totally overhyped. That is hardly what happened. Anyway, too bad he f'd his body up with steroids and got injured etc. He really was fun to watch.
People always talk about that one play. What everyone forgets is that he led the team in talks in the time that he was there, despite being forced to play a position that he was not used to.
People are dumb, and they tear others down to feel better about themselves. By some twisted reason they think if he wasn't that talented then how ironic for his loud mouth. By some similar twisted reason they think that if he wasn't that good, they themselves are not that bad.
The one thing that confuses me is taht everyone talks about how Bosworth was suspended for steroids at the end of his college career which is completly untrue. He was tested posative for a painkiller that was legal at the time they used it. More evidence to support that is that almost twenty years later he is in good physical shape, an impossibility if he was a steroid user.
Every sack Boz made in Seattle he donated $1,000 to childrens Hospital teaming up with one of the Radio stations who matched his amount. He did have a heart for the kids as well in the community.
made boz his bitch.one play way overhyped.there is no doubt that boz had talent to play in the nfl. boz just got hurt end of story.people should look at boz as a what if ,not a bust.
Completely agree with everything you said. Media people made a circus out of raw talent. Had the pleasure of watching all of these games with familtyin Seattle! Great videos!
@rbg631 Gawd these are so rad, thanks for making these. I tell anyone who will listen that he could actually play when healthy, unlike a Mandarich or someone like that. I was 13 and living in Seattle when the Seahawks drafted him, so needless to say he was/is my favofite player of all time. See ya.
"And I must say, Boz was a better player than I ever remembered. Thank you for showing me that. "
Agreed. Everybody talks about Bo Jackson steamrolling him in that game but he WASN'T a bad player at all. He definitely COULD have become the impact player Seattle had hoped for if he'd stayed healthy.
whoever put this together got it right...thanx for reminding me that I was more than just a player..i gave it everything that god gave me...thanx for remembering..
Exactly! i dont see how that makes someone a bust either! i mean, look at guys like Michael Vick and Vince Young! they were both drafted top 3 and havent done SHIT since then! Reggie Bush could also probably be put in that category!
Awesomeness is the word to describe the BOZ !!

@Technosphile He wasn't a bust you faggot. He was a great player in the NFL until the injuries started to mount up. Learn the facts idiot.

LOL
What are you, his son?
Nobody thinks Brian Bosworth was a "great player in the NFL". Nobody. Because he wasn't.
The "highlights" in this video are of the guy wearing #7.
Idiot.
